What if these 10 days, and the momentum from a win, are the spell the Lions needed to get right?
What if the offensive line required Frazier’s return at this moment, and another 10 days, to solidify?
What if I was entirely wrong about TesLaa, and his emergence gives the Lions weaponry that makes up for the lack of a viable tight end?
What if the defense had a sluggish last few weeks, but Kerby returns at exactly the right time, and alongside Maddox, a fully healthy DJ Reed, and another 10 days, gets the secondary settled?
What if someone lit the right fire under AQM, and now with Davenport finding his sea legs, the Lions have more than a nudge opposite Hutch?
What if this team is pissed after Thanksgiving and the national and local media crucifying them, and go on a historic run?
Let’s just say that 8-6 Den would probably be as insufferable as 7-5 Den was, even though all goals would still be in front of the Lions. So let’s hope for 9-5 Den.
I mean come on underrated by who? Vast majority think he’s no doubt top 10 in the league. If thinking he’s 9th best and in actuality he’s 6th…that’s a nothing burger.
Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Stafford, Herbert are the only 5 QBs I’m taking over Goff as of right this moment. I do like a handful of other QBs who are ascending right now, so this list could change in the near future.
I would say about 20%, or even less, would rank Goff outside the top 10. And 19% of those are members of this fanbase. Because some people just have to have it Stafford or Goff!!! Ones awesome and the other sucks!!!
I don’t know that anyone is expecting a win at LA. That’s an impossibly tall order. Of course I think the Lions can win, but frankly, if we get out of that game with minimal injuries and not a complete backslide of progress, I’ll be thrilled.
The thing with me i haven’t been expecting anything with all the changes, but I know we have a lot of weapons and are capable of winning any game. We just haven’t always played to our ability and haven’t been consistent.
