I thought paying $20 for parking at a Michigan game 20 years ago was bullshit!!
For the price of hotel, ticket, parking and food, I can buy a 75” TV, a kegerator, a keg and food.

Yeah, not surprised. A gray area that’s hard to prove. Usually the market decides these things. The lot owners claim it was a mistake caused by their app, but maybe it was accidentally on purpose, too. The city’s law seems very vague in any case.
Park Rite owns most of the parking lots in Detroit and they gouge all the time for events. They set the tone for parking prices downtown.
Am glad the city tried to make a statement. Parking is getting ridiculous in Det.
