Swift is a very good back. Our offense is completely different when he is on the field. I just think the staff does not feel like they can count him week in and week out. That is a big deal. Not shocked at all by this.

I think Bijan is more duplication (better of course) with Montgomery. Gibbs is a different type of player and will be used differently.

Regarding Swift, I am reminded that the most important ability is availability. I think the Lions just don’t see a player that they can trust to be on the field.
