I donāt know dates, but a silly late camp trade would be nice. If not, the backfield is most excellent, especially behind a top five Oline.

Very well could be. Maybe with him in a trade they get a 4th or 5th for him.
An early post after last season was about RBās and I had Gibbs. It was a weird season for Alabama and Bijon had a great year but I still liked Gibbs. I get the positional value argument and also understand we just got Montgomery and still have Swift, but if that OL can make some openings heās going to crush it.

Like LBer (which I expected in rd. 2) I also knew the Lions were going to take a RB. They are one Swift injury away from being average in the backfield again. Montgomery is solid but you need 2-3 guys who can get the job done now and Swift is simply a 3rd down back at this point.
Gibbs is explosive. I was set up for a draft like this in that theyāre simply a lot of guys to like and not many to love. I am okay with this pick. ESP. as we got an extra 2nd rounder. But I am happy to add Gibbs to the RB room.
