Charlie Campbell has the Lions picking at 29!!!
I’ll probably be less active next year’s draft, cuz my main gage as to wether I like a player or not is…if Bradley likes him, he’s a great pick!
I can’t gather that knowledge until AFTER the draft
I would love too
That Houston trade up may go down as the one of the WORST trades in NFL history.
Anderson is a good prospect… but hard to see him being anywhere near Bosa or TJ Watt… and they gave up a pick that could one of the most valuable in recent times.
Tyler Nubin ![]()
Nubin at 185 seems very low
Heh, yeah agreed. Think he would have gone much higher even this year. But it is a more loaded class, so maybe?
WAY better safety class next year
Step down at CB, RB and Edge next year but everywhere else should be as good or better. Next year’s TE class is probably more big skill heavy but it’s potentially a great big skill group. CB and RB are fine but likely not as deep. Edge is the one that at this early stage seems like a fairly large step down.
A ton can and will change of course.
Yeah that’s what I’ve been hearing. I still have a ton of work to do on the class of course, I’ll get started on that this fall lol.

I’ve seen us picking from 24 to 29. As Nate has observed, we’re sick and this time of year makes for slow football news so I went ahead and ran a simulation. I thought of our needs and who might be there and quite frankly it was hard, really hard. Not so much in the first, or even the second, but man I really like where we’re at right now. We have guys right now who are going to get cut that just a couple years ago I would have grabbed, but now, not so much. We were high on the waiver wire and we got some good help, guys who are going to stick. Commish, Harris, Buggs…not sure if I’m forgetting anyone but that’s a pretty good haul IMO. We’re not scrambling anymore, bad contracts are all but gone. Not a bad time to be a Lions fan.
No he’s not them. He’s never been compared to them. I have always compared him tomDerrick Thomas….in which Thomas wasn’t the Bosa/Watt-type either.
PFN has us picking 25th. Seems too low.
I agree with positions I think they nailed the positions we should look at.
Time stamp for late round picks they gotta go much earlier
I hope JJ doesn’t declare and we can then go OG Cooper Beebe
Donovan Edwards mid round looks nice to me. Would be ready to be the main back with Gibby in 2025
I like JJ a lot, and I’m a big U of M fan…. However if his play starts meeting his ceiling, I can’t see him being there…. He has a cannon, ideal height etc, and he will run 4.5 or better after training for it…. If he has 3,500 yards and 28 plus passing TDs and has nice rushing stats, and they have a great season how does he fall?
Quinn, JJ, Drake and of course Caleb will all go top 15 if they live up this year.

Michael Hall Jr- I think you see the soph to junior leap and he goes from 7.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks to 8-10 TFL and 5-6 sacks and then posts a plus 9 RAS at combine. He’s a bit of a tweener, but leans more 3 tech than bde….

Sed Van Pran or Z Zinter please. I’d like to see us retain Jackson if possible- and if Branch balls out and Walker is fully healthy, sadly I can’t see a top 3 safety contract going to CJGJ…. With Big V and GG gone, and Rags battling a degenerative toe… I’d say Van Pran has the size, power and experience to play OG or slide over to C eventually.
