2024 NFL Draft Profiles: PFF's top 200 draft prospects | NFL Draft | PFF

Even if the Lions don’t move up or down the board, there should be good players available for all four of their top picks.

Why does every site list my guy Tory Horton WR when @Thats2 swears he went back to school.

Somebody is lying to me

Too early to be precise, but there’s a lot of offense early, and quite a few edge and cb in that 15-40 range. Could work out nicely for us.

I think this is ridiculous. Deep tackle class and all but no way.

I get that he hasn’t played that much but 6’7" 340lb guys don’t move like that often. Might be the biggest overall freak in this class.

If he’s there at 29 I take him and do the Ogden Guard thing with him initially.

This sounds like sacrilege but it’s “Penei-ish upside” with him. But nowhere near “Penei-ish certainty.”

Another giant with crazy range would be fun. But I think he goes top 20 or so.

Based on this, the handsome one will be trading out of the first round…just like he said in the presser!

Don’t freak out, boys!

Kingsley Suamataia
BYU Soph OT 10 6-6 325

With the additions of Kingsley and Amarius, we will have the most offensive offensive line ever created. ( @CuriousHusker )

The job of our defense…stop the just one time and we win…cuz we gonna score every time!!!

This has some sample size issues for Mims so grajns of salt must be taken but …

Who is PFF’s lead draft analyst now that Renner’s gone? Is it Sikkema? If so, and if he’s behind these, then I’m taking them with a grain of salt.

I actually prefer BR’s rankings (though I know that’s kind of sacrilege around here). I don’t agree with them all, but they’ve got some legit evaluators working for them, including the best OL evaluator imo (Brandon Thorn).

Yes. Though it won’t shock me to see Renner back. It doesn’t seem like the split was ugly based off of podcast crossover. But at this point there seems to be a fairly entrenched opinion that Colinsworth doesn’t pay sh!t. Though one could argue that Draft Analyst probably shouldn’t pay well in an efficient fair society (if one were to ever exist).

The Ringer oughta snatch him up and add him to the Draft Show lineup. Then him and Austin could do their own thing again as well. Works for everyone.

Maybe. They seem to have really slowed down their hiring as well. Not sure how that’s organized being that it’s a Spotify subsidiary.

From afar it seems like the podcast niche to have two tracks to profitability. Either find that Joe Rogan star of keep costs really low.

Oh I doubt they actually bring him in, as you say there’s a hiring crunch. I just want them to.

So the ultimate groupthink rankings is already going on and they can’t even figure out 1 dude went back to school.

Draftniks just keep using the same top 100 and shuffling it around LOL

It’s likely just an error on PFFs part for that particular page on their site. Those ranking are all old and not reflective of their current Big Board. For what it’s worth, Horton isn’t on their current Top 275 (286).

Only 20 prospects at or above 8.0. (year 1 starters). Aren’t there usually more than this?

Answering my own q.: Last year there were 22. The year before that, there were 32.
Kind of a weak draft around the 29 pick.

All the more reason to trade up

My guy is ranked right at 29. And in other good news, he is also #7 ranked at his position. This could bode well. We’ll see if he’s on Brad’s radar.

Holmes might trade completely out of the first round…he eluded to it in his presser.

Holy ballsy move.
