2024 Top NFL Free Agents

Gleaned this from PFF, so not sure how accurate this is, so feel free to post any corrections or additions.

Either way, we could have our pick of DEs/CBs as this class seems to be deep at each position.

Fuller and huff makes us a top 10 defense

Jadaveon Clowney might be a nice pickup as one of those guys willing to come buy in to the Holmes/Campbell machine

Almost any of those DEs would be a big upgrade here.

I’ll take Fuller and someone else. Huff seems redundant with Houston.

considering Brads M.O

he will get solid players as complementary pieces rather than as the main attraction for the team

If we are getting a big name its a bit later in the FA cycle, similar to Ceedy Duce.

Madubuike, DJ Reader come to mind as those types of pieces tbh

That was his rebuilding MO. I don’t know that I would lock Brad’s title run into how he approached a rebuilding. That will have to change.

mmmm

maybe, we will see

Cam Sutton was one of the bigger names in FA last year for CB’s, not a true superstar, but a good player

we will see what he does, but i think he sticks with what he does best

uses FA to supplement the Rosters weaknesses, and get the big Core pieces from the draft

maybe he does a trade this FA aswell, maybe?

idk who though

Its obviously he is gonna trade for Aaron Donald

He is, a more refined Houston but his run defense suffers

Yeah, IMO, if you’re signing a FA DE to goo dmoney, it’s a guy who can do it all on the early downs and maybe even kick inside like Hutch on 3rd to allow Houston to come in on 3rds.

Hunter would be awesome paired with Hutch. Then go draft a good DT.
They say Hunter is going to get in the neighborhood of $65M/3 years

20m a year with an out after 2. Final offer. Come get your ring, Danielle.

Guarantee the $40M and bring him in

Hey let’s bring in Gilmore and let him coach up his brother

If we bring in a big name for more than 1 year, then that probably means one of our current young guys won’t be able to get paid.

That being said, I really hope one of the big name defensive lineman is wearing a Lions jersey next season.

None of the pro bowl/all pro guys cap hits are going to get cumbersome for 2 or 3 years if properly structured.

I’d argue now is the only time we’ll be able to bring in a big money outside free agent

I agree with you. I just hope we don’t lose a Brian Branch or Sam LaPorta because we brought someone in.
