2025 draft after trade deadline

How are we all feeling after the Zadarious Smith trade + all the other trades today? As well as what are our way too early draft predictions/wants?

I think we’re still looking at the Dline and Center/OG.
Edge/OLB priority 1.

I’ve been really zoning in on one prospect . His name is Trade Down. I hope he’s available when we pick.

Trade down for 2nd and 3rd unless there is an OG/C they really like at 32.

DE, same style as Davenport, more of a pocket crusher than Flamethrower or Dancer.

Targets of opportunity thereafter including younger X to learn for a year behind a re-signed Patrick

Trad down is a no brainer. This team needs depth. And quality depth. Not against a trade down for a pick and a future bean as well.

That’s a no brainer, at this point. That guy has been exactly what we needed.
I’d be cool with giving him 3 years.

Small trade down to pic up a 3rd.

Yeah, i would trade down in most cases, unless a prospect that has fallen (There always is a couple, look at Arnold and Verse), that the team really likes is around our pick, then you consider maybe the opposite lol

Again, trade down in every case outside of that.

3 years is to long for guy who gets hurt too much.

He hasn’t been hurt here. He’s playing lights out.
Is Hutch now excluded from being resigned?
This is the NFL. Injuries happen. Many of our best players have been injured.

Still wouldn’t sign him for 3 years.

Like, that’s your opinion, man.
And, you are entitled to it.
Peace.

Well Hutch didn’t tear his ACL and achilles in back to back seasons. His injuries have always been broken bones, which are much easier to heal from (in fact in some cases they come back stronger).

That said I have no problem extending Patrick, though if I went three years they would only be as team options. His injuries have to count for something, plus he turns 31 in a couple of weeks. Rare is the WR who’s still good at 33/34. Even stars like Julio Jones and AJ Green are past it by then.

Deone Walker would be a dream 1st rounder and you can usually get him around our pick on most of the sims right now… but once he shows up at 6’7, 340 and beats all of Jordan Davis’s testing numbers, he’s gonna skyrocket into the top 10. He’s still got some issues on tape, but it’s 100X better than Davis’s was. And unlike Davis, Walker plays a lot of snaps. Plus he’s a two-time captain despite being a true junior.

I often do as well.

I do like Carter at #93 think he could be a fun addition

If we do go LB I hope it’s someone who can cover like Carter, but I’d be surprised if we did it that high (pending FA of course). Personally I think the depth of the class matches up really well with our needs at Edge, iOL and WR, so I almost always find myself going that direction, with a little CB and iDL sprinkled in if one falls.

He was BPA at the pick so i wasnt opposed to it
