Length, strength, violence plus Brandon Thorne’s approval. I think with that reach, anchor and OT experience he’ll be functional to plus in pass pro if inside and I have zero concerns about him moving people. He’s a lot like Cornelius to me but with prof of concept inside and a bit better of an athlete. Injuries are admittedly concerning.
I like Swinson a lot, too. Seems like what he’s deficient in can be coached. Can’t teach speed, which he has. Love how he tackles with bad intentions. Campbell’s tackle on Metcalf to separate him from the ball is a picture of the aggression we like. You see that with Swinson.
@Thats2 this is where you fill me in on why he’s not a Lion either, LOL.

I admit I need to double back on him. I was a little turned off by his showing at the Senior Bowl and I moved on a little too hastily. I generally try and go through a check list around now of guys I need to go back and look at because inevitably I’ve mentally written them off too early, and he’s definitely one.
Well as you can see I’m the first one listed with him as a crush, I’ve loved him since October and really wanted him.
But I’ve got some bad news for you…
He was suspended for the first half against Florida for “not meeting team standards.” I don’t think that’s gonna fly for us. Now rumor is it was only for being late to a meeting, which is not great but shouldn’t be a deal breaker, but that part’s only a rumor. The only thing we know for sure is he was suspended.
Jarquez Hunter, RB Auburn.
I haven’t heard anybody talking about him, maybe I watching the wrong programming. 4th leading rusher in Auburn history and played with generally a shitty line and a shitty coach. He’s not huge, but for his size which looks to be approximately Craig Reynolds size, he can get the corner and he really gets yards after contact. He is faster than Reynolds by a good deal. Decent hands. I worry a little about his pass pro, but if I had to guess the Lions love this guy.
Given the injuries I think he’s probably mid day 3. If healthy I think Rivers over-performs that range.
I really like him too. He’s a 4th rounder on my board just behind Skattebo and ahead of Giddens. Now in this class that might put him pretty far down my overall RB board, but this is a stupid loaded class. Last year he probably would have been a top 5 RB for me.

Interesting! That sounds about right for Hunter though. I’ll be honest I didn’t expect Henderson to be that high on yards after contact. I see him more as a speed merchant but with more toughness than you usually see from that type. All my faves are right in that upper right!
Henderson’s issues - and the reason I’m lower on him - are pretty much completely injury-related. He’s rehabbed his stock enough that the capital you’d have to spend on him will really make it hurt if he goes down.
As an OSU fan I waited years for him to breakout but he kept getting injured…so I get it.
Both he and Cornelius are really smart, thoughtful dudes but total ass kickers on the field. I think we’d like their character.
