2025 Mock Draft Thread

Some really terrific RB prospects are going to slide.

Some do, but there are plenty who haven’t. AJ Dillon, Dameon Pierce, Kalen Ballage, TJ Yeldon, Jaylen Samuels, etc…

I dont think those players have the heart of Kalel Mullings. Pearce was awesome and then just vanished. I see a warrior in Mullings. He will carry the ball like its the last time he touches it. Id love to see him run the ball on an outside zone play and explode north. That would be fun. One cut and go.

The last three years pick 198 would have gotten us RB14, RB17 & RB18.

Jeanty, Hampton, Henderson, Judkins, Sampson. Johnson, Neal, Skattebo, Harvey, Tuten, Giddens, Martinez, Gordon, Blue, Smith, Ettienne, Allen, Brooks, Mullins, James, Monangai

That’s 21. There’s more. Hell the UDFA RBs will probably be sick as well. It’s simply a numbers game at a certain point.

Which of these are late day 3 players could be great to you? Doubtful, in my opinion we draft a RB on day 1 or 2 unless theyre special. Ill stand by my statement that Mullings will be an issue in the NFL. Where he goes i dont know. Also like Woody Marks, Marcus Major later.

You’re right. There’s tons of good RB’s.

But, does any of them have the potential to be the next Brandon Jacobs or Derrick Henry outside of the 1st round?

Maybe i am too high on Mullings? I also like Jalen Milroe. Maybe im too high on him too?

My spitball guess would be something like.

Jeanty (1st), Hampton (1st-ish), Henderson (1st-ish), Judkins (2nd), Sampson (2nd). Johnson (2nd/3rd), Neal (4/5), Skattebo (3rd :man_shrugging:), Harvey (3rd/4th), Tuten (3rd/4th), Giddens (4th), Martinez (5th), Gordon (5th), Blue (3rd/4th), Smith (3rd/4th), Ettienne (3rd/4th), Allen (5th/6th), Brooks (5th/6th), Mullins (5th/6th), James (5th/6th) , Monanga (5th/6th)

But that’s too many guys so some of those will slide down the board.

I think Ettienne is way overrated. I would not take him before round 6 in a class like this. In fact if I’m Brad I would not draft him at all. There will be a ton of RBs already in the league who will be looking for jobs as well.

I.dont know. I think Mullings could really be a star. And i said the RB’s i like. I like most of the guys you listed @CuriousHusker. What we do with it is not my call.

Hope we keep winning.

Brashard Smith is pretty good, too. But he wont be blocking anyone. I do like Tuten.

I would say after the first 5 guys on your list the rest can drop at least a round. Since we’re not looking for one I hope they all go early and often.

Either one of these guys could be a good KR for us.

Id like Kalel Mullings on the team. And I’d like our offensive line strong.

Dont always get what you want.

I think Brad Holmes and Dan are doing an outstanding job. I love em’.

Whatever you do i am good with

Dont let us down, Brad and Dan.

Here’s Colton Pouncy’s post-combine mock for us:

Spoilers, these are our picks:

28: Derrick Harmon
60: Shavon Revel
101: Femi Oladejo
133: Jackson Slater
141 (trade): Pat Bryant
202: CJ Dippre
249: Jailin Walker (just mentioned in Pro Day thread)

He’d have a better name if it was Shavoff.

That would be sweet. I’m guessing Brad would take that draft in a heart beat. He can replace the traded picks with comp picks, if I’m judging his FA temperament correctly.

Round 1 Tra Downs
Round 2 Tra Bach

Yeah I’d be pretty happy with it too.

Reached for Kennard, but I like the player.

I really like Jonas Sanker. I was hoping we could get him in the 4th round but after the combine I think it is safe to say he won’t be there when we pick in round 4. He looks like a perfect fit as a back up for both Kerby and BB. He would also be insurance if Kerby prices himself out of our market. He is not the ballhawk Kerby is but he is very good in coverage and an excellent tackler. I want this guy so I give you an A+. As for the other picks I would have to see who is available.

Yeah I don’t even know what grade I would give this draft. It was a hard one to parse through IMO.

Traded 60/2nd next year and a 5th next year for 40
