2025 Mock Draft Thread

Yeah I think he CAN play WILL for us, and probably should from time to time. But I think you’re taking away from one of the things he does best, rush the passer. And not as a blitzer like you typically see from a LB (though he would probably be good at that too). From the line like we do with Barnes and tried to do with Campbell. I think he’s got some really high-level gifts there.

The amount of Dearborn, Michigan related joke restraint that I’m going to have to summon if he’s the pick :man_facepalming:

Grant isn’t really nothing like Davis , Walker is closer to Davis. Grant is more then just a NT and can rush the passer some.

Got some evidence of it? Would love to see it. Please share if you do.

What evidence you looking for, go watch his tape especially last year it’s alittle better.

Here is one read. Not sure what what you need

"Grant’s journey to the top of draft boards accelerated during Michigan’s 2023 national championship run, where he emerged as more than just a space-eating nose tackle. His viral moment came against Penn State, chasing down running back Kaytron Allen from behind – a play that perfectly encapsulated his rare blend of mass and mobility. He followed that up with a junior season that saw him set Michigan’s all-time record for pass breakups by a defensive lineman while anchoring one of college football’s most dominant defensive fronts.

Beyond the highlight reel plays, Grant’s sustained impact shows in the details – the consistent push on passing downs, the disciplined gap control, and the surprising range to make plays outside the tackle box. His combination of test numbers (4.95 forty at 339 pounds) and game film has scouts revisiting their initial projections of him as merely a two-down run stuffer."

I’m just looking for pass rushing video evidence…

The dude is talented. No doubt. Just wanna see pass rushing evidence? I never saw it when I watched Michigan… At least rarely.

Not being a dick, just being honest. Looked like a 345 pound second or third round pick

To mangle Raheen Wallace aphorism: 3 years of play don’t lie, but NFL draft do. So everyone’s right until they’re wrong about the draft.

Love the effort but that’s a 20 yard rushing gain. Pass rushing remains my question?

RJ Mickens was a good value day 3 guy

He’s really rated as a 7th rounder ?

That was a 340 lb man chasing down a RB that had at least a 5 yrd head start. And you come away with it’s a nice effort but it’s a 20 yrd gain ? Lol dude if it wasnt for that 340 lb DT it would have been a 40 yrd gain.

It doesn’t matter what I put up gotta feeling you won’t see it.

Love you Mouse! I think Grant is a good player.

I’m looking for pass rushing ability evidence…that’s it.

Grant is talented at the LOS for sure.

The end

We are having 2 different conversations my friend

You too bro I love talking with you , I tried to find the video but it wouldn’t let me share it but it did that one witch showed how big and fast he is. It’s the best I could do.

Here some stats that suggest he has some pass rush chops.

I would expect Mickens to be selected somewhere close to our 4th round pick. At the latest early 5th round. He is a good all around over the top safety.

Yeah I like

Mickens, Saivion Jones, Pegasus, Ivey,

Few guys on short list for round 4 so far

He’s usually ranked really late, yeah, but I don’t know if that’s where the league actually has him right now. I’ve got him much higher than that, around the 3/4th area.
