2025 Mock Draft Thread

After the middle of the 2nd round I am not seeing any CBs that fit our defense. The ability to play press man in coverage and a plus in run support just isn’t there. Maybe Zy Alexander but I think DE Oladejo is a much better football player with a lot more upside.

Did you have somebody in mind? I expect Hunter, Johnson. Revel, Thomas,.Barron, and Hairston to be gone. A prospect I like later is Bernard BJ Adams from UCF but I don’t see this as the draft for us to be looking for a CB. I would assume that’s why we signed Mosely and Roc. Not a lot of help there.

I agree with your thought process and most all your picks.
I would have looked at a WR but I can’t say what was available when you were picking.
I assume you neant Reed and Roc when you were referring to CB’s (instead of Moseley).

I’d be smitten with this outcome.

I have been taking him big size an fast still needs work but we are not looking for a starter early at least. also Handcock is another just maybe another rd later.

If we’re gonna play a lot more zone, I love him. If we’re sticking with heavy man, I don’t like him nearly as much. He whiffs with his hands when trying to press too much, and his hips are just too tight to stay sticky at the route break.

I normally don’t post mocks where I’ve made trades, but this one went so well I had to.

3 different types of DL: 3/1T Harmon, 5T Robinson, and true edge Oladejo.

Doubled-down on iOL early in day 3. If we’re gonna wait on a need, I like to throw 2 or 3 picks at it.

Got major crushes Winston and Horton, both of whom I have ranked in the top 15 overall.

A long developmental press CB who also happens to be an elite athlete.

A high-effort WILL (who can backup at MIKE) with pristine football character.

The most underrated X WR in the draft.

The most underrated RB in the draft.

So, do we have any picks next year after that?

That was all the result of one trade down from 28-32. Philly offered us A LOT. Every pick with the red trade button next to it.

That is a lot trade chart wise, though 5th round picks are trade chips for stocked teams (and it looks like they’ll have a tone of them in2026). Who were the Iggles so eager to take?

Lost to the vagaries of multiple subsequent simulated mocks.

Have you had any problems with that site freezing up? It does it to me all the time now then refreshes itself after a few minutes.

I haven’t but I use Vivaldi as my browser and it has really robust ad blockers. I remember it having a ton of video ads back when I was on Safari and while it didn’t straight-up freeze, it would sometimes get very slow. Hasn’t been a problem since I switched.

Two newer ones that have no ads:

I didn’t dive deep into this years draft prospects yet, but my fist round choice is the best available OG. Maybe someone like Kelvin Banks Jr. The strength of this team is the offensive line and that needs to keep going. Now, and for the future.

I’d be pretty happy with that. I’m not Savaiinaea’s biggest fan, but otherwise I like pretty much everyone on there.

I’m ambivalent about him but at 67? Why not.

I suppose I am more than ambivalent about him then, cause that’s still too high for me. I’ve got him ranked just outside my top 100.

I was not a big fan of Savaiinea going into the season. After watching him at the Senior Bowl and some of interviews from the combine he changed my opinion. On tape I always thought he would be a much better fit at OG. He plays hard every snap on a mediocre team. He said he started staying an extra half hour after every practice with Jordan Morgan and continued doing that after Morgan was drafted. He strikes me as a player we are going to like a lot. I think there will be teams that look at him at OT because he has good length and teams are desperate for OTs.

These mock drafts are a lot more fun when we trade down.
