2025 Mock Draft Thread

Eh not a huge Sawyer fan just because typically a guy with average athleticism and 31 inch arms doesn’t workout typically. A guy like Kancey can get away with it because he’s got elite explosion.

Differant but I kinda like it.

Ooh, I would love those first 4 picks. Of course I’m pretty sure Grant is an OT all the way, not sure why so many sites list him as a G when he checked in at 6’5, 311 with almost 35 inch arms. And he’s one of the most athletic OL in the draft, this G talk is nonsense imo.

That said, he’s one of my favorite tackles in this draft. Of course I think he goes A LOT higher than he does on the sims because of his measureables, not to mention the juice and wrestling background.

Yeah I like him he is athletic he could move inside to start and would be great replacement for Decker in future. I kinda like the T that can play G. But I agree he is a LT of the future.

I could live with that. Lots of value there, IMO.

Oh definitely! I’m a UofM fan but I’ve always really like Jack. He’s just a football player.

What happened to him? Did he get injured? I remember he had a pretty good rookie year.

My exact thoughts! I actually almost said that in my last post to mouse. Chris really had nothing going for him other than he was just a hard-nosed football player and just made plays.

196 for Thornton would be a coup as well. Him being available then would surprise me.

See I was thinking he had a couple knee injuries that took evening he had left.

The injuries have started to pile up the past couple of years, but he was healthy for his first two seasons in the league and most of his 3rd and was never more than a part-time starter and a healthy scratch in their playoff gave vs Buffalo his last season in NE.

11 sacks his first 2 season he was a good player then he blew his knee out

But shhh that doesn’t fit the narrative here

Josh Paschal has done a fraction of that in 3 years … but he has a great RAS score

Nope, never happened. He only missed a month injured during his time with New England, from October to November his final season with a hamstring injury.

He only started 9 out of 45 games total with the Pats.

He spent much of his season with the Browns on IR in 2022 with a hamstring injury. (From September to November).

He signed with Houston the following season but was released before the season started.

He signed to the Dolphins practice squad in 2024 and got elevated for a game in October. He was released two weeks later.

A week after that he announced his retirement.

He never once blew out his knee.

21 Lions Mykel Williams EDGE | Georgia TRADE
65 Lions Jonah Savaiinaea IOL | Arizona TRADE
105 Lions Joshua Farmer DL | Florida State TRADE
133 Lions Tory Horton WR | Colorado State TRADE
137 Lions Jonas Sanker S | Virginia TRADE
228 Lions Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins EDGE | Georgia

I started with a trade up to the Steelers. I gave up our 1, 3 and 4 for their 1 and 4. I ended up giving up a 5 next year to move up for Horton. I moved back in the 2nd and then moved up again to get Sanker. I moved all over to get player I wanted at the positions I wanted to fill.

What is your opinion of DT Joshua Farmer? I think this guy checks all of the boxes for a Lions player in that he brings it every snap. For me rd 2 is too early and he is gone by rd 3. This dude can push the pocket but he lacks a lot of pass rush counters. I think at the senior bowl he was used to test the IOL to see if they could handle a bull rush. Outside of Zabel everyone was on their heels going back to the QB. He has long arms and power that is rare. At the senior bowl he weighed 312 and 305 at the combine. I think he has a lot of upside like Alim not BroMart. in that he can do things well now but can be much better with som coaching.

I like him quite a bit, yeah. He’s in that group of DTs after Harmon, Grant and Graham for me along with Collins, Alexander, Turner, Walker, and Tyleik.

I don’t talk about him much because I have other guys I prefer in the 1st, and like Alexander and Tyleik (and unlike you), I fully expect him to be gone before 60. He’s just got too many gifts to stick around. Just look how the DTs got pushed up last year. Orhorhorho, Newton, Maason Smith, Sweat, Fiske, Jenkins, Michael Hall Jr. all gone by our pick at 61. Some of those guys were expected, but most were mocked later for most of the draft cycle.
