I have seen highlights of Dugger. Like him. Kind of want to see if he could get to 260 and be a pass rusher. To me that frame has serious growth potential without losing juice. I think you could get Jalyx Hunt + if you wanted to go that route.
It is a strange frame for a LB, but he looked pretty natural at the Shrine Bowl. Much more so than Gentry imo, and not so thin he gets blown away like a leaf in the wind in the run game.
I’m very intrigued with him as a Barnes understudy, and hell he could even creep up into the 260s the way we use that spot. While I wish we used a true overhang or WILL, I do like the way we play a traditional SAM.

He mostly did LB stuff at the Shrine Bowl and looked great. Very little rushing (though some, of course). The coverage instincts were really, really impressive. He’s closer to safety than edge imo. Of course so was Jalyx, so I get it. Honestly I just want to add him to the roster and figure it out.

Yeah, the thing is the list gets so bloated by draft day that we all end up with some hits lol. Lots of misses too. Really it’s just a fun way to stay engaged with the prospects.

Plus I don’t really think crushes means we are saying this guy is going to hit. I often put esoteric guys on there for the fun of it. I assume many lean into the entertainment aspect as well.
Right. I mean, too many of my crushes are day 3 guys and UDFA once I finish that big list, and I definitely don’t think most of those will hit.
