If he’s mentioned in the same breath as Tim Dwight then count me in
Really into the idea of John Henry Daley as a Lion. Run defense needs some work still but he’s Hutch like in terms of motor and effort so I think it will get there with time. His two year mission has him a bit behind the curve on weight training. But the idea of bookend Energy bunny edges excites me. And I do think JHD’s energy and spirit is in that Crosby and Hurch tier though Henry’s not nearly as long and not quite as talented.

Very much of interest to me if we think he can stay at T. Probably mean flipping Penei bc I think even the most optimistic doubt Gage’s abikity to cut it at LT. Casey is very much an us type of guy.
I like this idea of day 2 RT
Him or Dunker work for me
I’m less optimistic about Dunker being able to stay at OT.
Who’s the best RT prospects do you think ?
Like RT only? Has to be Fano, right?
Sorry I mean for where we pick is what I mean
Our targets
I’m a Lance Heard-stan. Is he in this draft? No clue. Is he available when we pick? Not sure. Is he a RT or a LT? Could go either way as his play style and body type is unorthodox. But rare natural power IMO, mean demeanor and better movement skills than you would guess. He’s still pretty raw though.
What do you think of Ben Brahmer?
I think this is the worst class of TE’s that I have seen in many years.
Of the late day 1/day 2 types, and with the caveat that they might end up having to kick inside to guard, I like Tiernan, Fa’amoe, Casey, Carter Smith. I also like Blake Miller and Iheanachor more than most, but they don’t have any guard flexibility (and I think they’d be better on the left side). Sierevald is awesome, but I’m almost certain he’s guard only, despite playing tackle for Ohio State.
Mauigoa would be the dream for me, but I suspect he’s long gone.
Sadiq, Klare and the Vandy TE are all the ones that I think will get drafted highly… but they are all recieving TEs, not really super good at inline blocking, Sadiq especially
I really like Terrance Carter Jr., but he’s another pass-catching TE. Actually he’s more of a F type, which honestly makes him a little more appealing. But it looks like he’s starting to get more expensive. Kanak and Joly are kinda the same, but I like Carter better.
Tanner Koziol is good too, but he’s another pass-catcher.
On the flip side, Kacmarek is one of the best blocking TEs I’ve ever seen, but he offers very little as a pass-catcher.
There is always some solid pieces in the lower rounds, but this class compared to more recent ones is def one of the weakest in a hot minute
Definitely weaker than 2023 and 2025, but I think it might be better than 2024. It had Bowers at the top but not much else. I think the next-best TE out of that class at the moment is… AJ Barner?
Have you seen any of Khalil Dinkins TE from Penn St? He looks like a blocking machine. I just happened to notice because he just punished Nebraska. He did catch a TD against UCLA. I hope he gets an invite to the senior bowl. I lot of these guys that didn’t see the ball a lot in their offense get a chance to show some receiving chops in the drills or even at the combine.
He did catch 14 passes last year playing behind Warren and he had 4 for 40 yards against Indiana and 3 for 49 against UCLA this year. He is listed at 6’4” 251
I have not, but the blocking guys are typically late finds unless I happen to notice them live, which is honestly pretty rarely. Just happened to watch Ohio State enough to notice Kacmarek.
I agree, Nebraska is the only team I watch every game. I was trying to watch the OG from PSU because they were just running the ball at will. But it was 16 for PSU that was out in front of most of those runs. The OG was impressive too. It all started with Dinkins with a down block on the DE, the OT blocks down on the DT and the OG pulls around. Ioane looks quite athletic for his size. I see why he projects as a 1st rounder. Nebraska just has no dudes up front to deal with those guys. I imagine it will be pretty much the same against Iowa.
