With the addition of Mays, all we need is a good RT in round 1 or 2 and we are light years ahead of LY’s OL.
C- Mays< GG
LT- Sewell<Decker
LG- 2026 Mahog/Frazier<2025Mahog/Frazier
RG- 2026 Rat<2025Rat
We need a RT and our line is back to being a strength of this team again. Finding a good RT in the draft is not rocket science.
It’s BH time to cook on the D from this point forward with midlevel FA’s to fill the holes at S, LB & Edge.
Ummm…let’s relook at the < and > symbols.
The alligator’s mouth always points at the larger or better number.
I was very confused by this for a minute.
Leave it @checkmate260! We’ll get some good run out of this I foretell.
We’re all entitled to SDM (senior dyslexic moments.)
I will spare the board putting this on the front page.
2026 OC < 2025 OC.
Being better is going to take some nice progressions out of our guards and a solid rookie RT. Jury is still out, but I like our chances if we do indeed take a tackle Rd1
it’s far too late in the workday for this

I get the point that you were trying to make, however, and it’s valid. Pending the mystery of who out other OT ends up being, OL should be better in ‘26 for sure.
Good bet the starting guards are the same, but a year older and w/experience under their belt. Plus Frazier with (knock-on-wood) a full training camp and offseason to get stronger, more fit, more preseason reps. It’d be pretty surprising if Frazier and Ratledge, especially, weren’t better in Y2.
IMO it’s definitely not a given that Penei gets flipped to the left side. But, in any case, it’s a fair bit to expect that even a 1st-round rookie OT is as good as or better than even a Decker diminished by injury in his 10th year.
Still, with improvement likely at all three IOL positions and a solid showing from that rookie OT, I’ll take that.
I taught myself the difference between < and > by drawing little teeth and angry eyes on the side facing the larger number. The world would be a better place if that was the standard way to do it even for adults.
How in gods name is last years OL better? Please explain yourself.
You gotta read through the thread. It’s jokes. He got the sign thing wrong and we convinced him to leave it.
Let’s be clear
No one except the creator of this thread was confused about what way/direction you “open the mouth of the alligator” ![]()

Alll is well in the den

I definitely won’t say the OLine is fixed, but I’m not chewing my fingernails to the bone like I was 2 weeks ago. Borom and Scruggs are likely depth, but both are young and have that unexpected ceiling of having it “click” with a change of scenery.
And of all the available options at center this offseason, after McGovern resigned, Mays was the best option.
I’d hate to go into the draft HAVING to take a specific position. With the tackle depth in these soon to be rookies, tackle still looks appetizing, but not a must. Good couple of moves Brad. Not done, but solid start.

I love BDSM!

Less than is the new greater than.
Y’all need to spend more time with @checkmate260 and I and the cool kids.
