Do you really think all these guys that “have a nice year” want to sign for a back up role here if they can get a big contract with another team? We won’t have the money to retain all these guys. Now if they don’t have a nice year and they are injured we may be able to bring them back on cheap 1 year prove it deals.

Could we deploy more 3-4 looks and have 4 lbs out there with Shep at the helm?
Teams appear to be gearing up for more running and more two TE sets. The 4-2-5 was to stop all the shot gun and 3-4 WR looks. Now with more mobile QBs than ever it’s hard to spy a QB with one LB and only have one LB left on the field.
This could be why they expect so many sacks from Barnes? Playing the Von Miller role in Denver, or Van Noy in Baltimore.

Initially I think Amik is the top priority re-signing. We’ll see obviously but he’s been fantastic for us. I think him and Rake give us quality talent behind our starting CBs that we haven’t had in forever.
Anzalone I think yall are underestimating what he’s going to get paid. Dude is a beast and a leader. Not sure we can afford him. It’s either him or Rodrigo, but not both.
Reeder is gone, we literally took his replacement in the 1st round last month.
