Gotta make some tough choices coming up. Probably let Analzone go.

@Humberto I’ll try too

I think I’d be more cutthroat than you, closer to @Humberto. Of the 30+ tier one vets, I’d let all of them go, though AA would be tricky since we don’t have his replacement in the building. Maybe a cheap one-year deal if he’d take it then draft Suntarine or Kyle Louis or whoever, though we may just have to play the rookie. Not like we haven’t done that before.

Also I think there’s only 2 outcomes for Davenport: either he gets hurt again and we finally move on like we did Moseley, or he stays healthy, blows up (he WILL be great for us if he stays healthy), and gets a big contract somewhere else and brings back a comp pick. Very little in between.

Under 30 I’d bring back Amik & Rodrigo for sure, and maybe Lopez and/or Stuard, based on how they play. I’m not sure Awosike makes this year’s roster. Doubt he gets traded, he was sitting out there for anyone to sign and no one did, seems to be very little interest.

The plus 30 tier 2 guys, I mean maybe. They’re so cheap (ideally) it doesn’t really matter either way. I don’t know that we’ll have a spot for Skipper any more though.

Looks like 4 6/7th round picks coming.

I think I’m the world’s number 1 fan of Rodrigo. He’s AA’s replacement. Probably why I’m good with letting the crusty old vet go. But we still got another year. Love AA.

I really like Rodrigo as well, but I’d prefer a much better cover guy at WILL going forward. To me Rodrigo’s more of a MIKE who can give you some reps on both the strong and weak sides, at least ideally.

10+ mil for Reader / Levi could be a 5th round Comp Pick.

What picks do we have now for the 2026 Draft? I think we have a 5th or a 7th coming for Zeitler. Not counting that comp pick what regular picks do we have?

That sucks I thought we had 2 6th rounders. We got 1 back for next year in the TeSlaa trade right?

Of all those FAs Anzalone would be the 1 guy I want back. I’d prefer to keep Raymond as my punt returner until he can’t do it anymore. The rest of those guys can be replaced.

Our 6th swapped with Cleveland 7th for ZDarius

Shouldn’t be much of a difference maybe 10 spots or so no biggie

I think Anzalone is the type of guy who will stick around for awhile on reasonable short term contracts. Could easily see him getting another 2 year deal 10-12mil deal.

He loves Campbell and Sheppherd plus him and Barnes are extremely close.

According to Zierlein, we’re looking at a 3rd round and a 7th round pick. We’ve already traded the 3rd rounder away, so probably only a 7th rounder.

Unless someone hires Agnew, Sheppard, Montgomery or Dwayne Joseph away from us.

Iffy gonna come through for us and cancel out Lopez

I assume we’ll draft an edge Rd. 1…

Maybe Re-Sign:

Reader DT or Roy Lopez DT
Pat O’Connor DL

……Williams should be the starting NT. If Reader or Lopez has a nice yr, and is happy w/ a backup’s salary, sure, bring one back. If O’Connor has a nice yr, and is happy w/ a league min salary, sure.

Davenport DE
AQ Muhammad DE

……If Davenport has a nice, healthy yr and is happy to sign a 1yr deal at a backup’s salary, sure. If Muhammad has a nice yr and is happy to sign a league min salary, sure.

Anzalone LB
Malcolm Rodriguez LB
Grant Stuard LB
RFA Nowaske

……If Anzalone has a nice yr and is happy to sign a reasonable 1-2yr contract, sure. If he wants longer term, might need to spend our 2nd rd pick or some FA dollars here. If Rodrigo’s has a nice yr and is happy to sign a backup’s salary, of course. If Stuard has a nice yr and is happy to sign a league min salary, sure. Same w Nowaske.

Amik Robertson CB
Avonte Maddox DB

……Rakestraw should be able to take over as starter here, but if Robertson has a nice yr and is happy to sign a backup’s salary, of course. If Maddox has a nice yr and is happy to sign a league min salary, sure.

Kayode Awosika IOL

……I’m guessing this is Glasgow’s last yr. Ratledge should replace him as starter. Frazier should be first backup (or starter if Ragnow retires). No reason not to bring Awosika back if he has a nice yr, and is happy w a league min salary.

Dan Skipper OT

……In an ideal world, Manu is the #1 backup (or starter if Decker retires). But no reason not to bring Skipper back if he has a nice yr, and is happy w a league min salary.

Patrick WR

……If he has a nice yr (and doesn’t look too old), and is happy w a backup’s salary, sure, why not.

Raymond WR
RFA - Ronnie Bell

……If Lovett’s really something, he could push Raymond out. If he’s more of a PS guy, no reason not to bring back Raymond if he has a nice yr and is happy w a backup’s salary. Ronnie Bell’s getting a little old to be a PS guy, but maybe.

Don’t Re-Sign:

Levi Onwuzurike DT

……Shouldn’t need him w/ McNeill back and healthy and w/ Wingo developing.

Josh Paschal DL

……Shouldn’t need him as a backup strong-side end with Hassanein.

Yes. So much can happen in one year. Performance, injuries, development/lack of it.

Still, it’s fun looking through the fog. For me, I like toying with scenarios where Isaac TeSlaa blossoms into a finished product like Amon-Ra did in his first season. Brad would have lots of options at that point in 2026.

Who you gonna believe? Lance Zierlein or DeadStroke? I’m going with DeadStroke and his estimation of 6th round or if Iffy plays a bunch, maybe a 5th.

Did I get it wrong again, @DeadStroke? Senior brain, ya know…

If I had to bet, I’d bet that Iffy nets us a 7th rounder, which would mean that we’d get a 5th rounder comp for Zeitler
