25/26 NCAAB season; MSU UM and more

the same is true of the elite players. Deepest in a while.

Something completely bonkers NBA wise is that depending on the rest of the season and the lottery, OKC may get two of the elite guys.

Like right now, Tankathon has the getting both Dybantsa and Peat. Can you imagine that team with those two added in?

Sam Presti might be the best GM of all time in any sport. Perhaps some luck involved but the pipeline of talent he has built up with the war chest of picks still at his disposal is simply unfair.

And a great ownership group that trusted him and had patience and now we could be looking at a rare dynasty.

If Michigan doesn’t win it all I would be very shocked. I heard one player is making over 4 million.

I personally think that Jerry West is the best GM I’ve seen in any sport. I thought Glen Sather was great too!

That’s awesome, kind of like watching the stacked Red Wing’s teams back in the day. That was fun to follow as well

Indeed.

I met Jerry West when I was eleven. Such a gentleman. That’s why the depiction on Winning Time seemed so off to me.

But I agree. Easily one of the best ever in any sport.

I wouldn’t. They are the betting favorite and I think that is totally fair but I think there are at least five uber-elite teams. Michigan, AZ, Duke, Iowa St. and UCONN. Purdue and Houston are likely to be right there as well.

if I was forced to pick one I would go with Michigan but I’d easily take the field of the other elite four over Michigan.

It’s also matchup related. I think a team like Florida for instance would give Michigan problems bc they can neutralize/matchup their front court talent.

The tournament is always so matchup based.

This, and I also have to wonder if Michigan is peaking right now.

I think they’re obviously very very good, and can definitely win a national championship, but beating everyone by 20+ is just hard to do over the course of the entire season. There’s a reason there hasn’t been a team to go completely undefeated in a very long time (if at all).

I think Arizona and Michigan are the two best teams right now. But I really do believe the gap between them and the other elite teams is quite small.

Maybe. How good USC is remains to be seen. They’ve still yet to play or beat anyone of consequence. I’d expect Michigan to blow them out as well. Probably more like 25-30 points.
