They are all game-deciding phantom calls in Dallas.
I hate their smugness, their arrogance, and 3 blatant bogus calls the last 3 times we’ve gone to Arlington, but did you know that the 'Boys have beaten the Lions 6 times in a row? Well, not beaten, but gotten a win.
Before the refs missed the giant Dan Skipper declaring eligible, this article talks about two other game-stealing calls in two other Lions go to Dallas games.
Of course, Dallas fans say it’s just bad luck and losers always whine about officiating.
What’s your opinion on Lions v. Dallas? Is it bad luck, bad calls, bad play by the Leos, or something worse? And what’s going to happen to them on Sunday?
The article fails to mention that Dez Bryant took his helmet off, arguing the pass interference call, A play for which he was not even on the field. Of course No penalty. Dallas and Green Bay have always gotten the benefit of the whistle against the Detroit Lions. Hopefully this is the game where we can beat Dallas and the referees.
for me it’s this.
A. Dallas is called “Americas Team.” and they keep that title, not because THE TEAM can beat other NFL teams -as a rule-.
B. The Officials are always there to make sure Dallas can ‘get’ by playing 4 quarters or win.
C. Jerry is old as a damn mummy , somebody should mummify his ass already!!
Detroit has had what 41 different HC’s?? , Jerry has been there in Dallas since I was in Elementary school.
I’m glad someone put up a thread like this. I was seriously thinking of starting one.
We can almost guarantee there will be a controversial call in this game.
Boys fans are always complaining the Refs are unfair towards their team. So when the Lions beat them I’m sure there will be some complaining from them.
Truth be said the NFL had a bad look after the last matchup. Most fans felt the Lions were robbed. The crew who called that game didn’t get to officiate in the post season.
So I expect that the NFL has already sent out a memo. Let’s make sure this game isn’t decided by controversy.
I wonder if fans are expecting a controversial call or two from this game?
I’m not expecting it…. But I think Fans will find one.
Excluding the 2014 playoff game the last 12 times we have played the Cowboys 9 of those games have been in Dallas. Wow. Adding this game makes it 10 if the last 13 games have been in their house.
I am SURE there will be some questionable calls but not like last year. I heard that more than two thirds of NFL fans “don’t hate” the Lions. It was on a ranking of most hated teams.
Point is, they can’t keep screwing us the way they did when we were laughing stocks.
I think MCDC felt robbed. That’s why he said F*ck it and kept going for 2.
So, we know what to expect when we’re knocked down like that.
We’re going to bite your @#$% kneecaps off Dallas!
I think the cowboys get handled this week, it’s just time. They got away with too many, the stars are align with a whipping due in Dallas Im hoping this is another statement game. Were the Lions win Handley and take the refs out of the game. It’s time , next monkey gone.
That’s favoritism, right there! How does that happen?
Explain it like you’re explaining it to someone as simple as they obviously think we are.
What really pissed me off, last year? Goodell was there and saw it in person. Not that it made any difference.
