With the season over 75% over has it been a success?
I for one have loved watching the Lions this season. For the first time in forever I have confidence the Lions can win every game on their schedule. Of course they will not win every game but they could. Which is so much better than knowing deep inside it would be an upset for the Lions to win a game.
Not going to lie. I am already a bit bummed the season is coming to a close. Football is my favorite sport to watch and this season has been very very enjoyable.
Looking forward to tonight and a big victory over the Broncos. I am sure MCDC has some serious juice for the game with Peyton on the other sideline. I have said in the past that I wanted him as our coach over MCDC. You can see why now. He is just a solid NFL coach. But MCDC has definitely grown on me.
Regardless I’m looking forward to the Lions off season more than most. For the 1st time in a loooooong time, our needs are limited in scope. We don’t need 22 new starters. We’re down to 4 positional needs. Bring on free agency followed by the draft in Motown.
I’m going to try to take a hiatus again when the season is over. The buildup to the draft and the lull afterward is a lot of time with a lot of conversation about hypotheticals and opinion. Need another hobby to fill that time.
Last year at this point we were 6-7. Expectation are higher this year but I’ll take 9-4 over 6-7. A win tomorrow surpasses 2022. A win over Minny the next week likely locks up the division and the #3 seed with #1 and #2 still in play.
