We need to stop trading future picks for guys like Brodrick martin and Giovanni Manu. It’s so rare to make a successful competition jump like that… so using multiple resources on it just doesn’t pay off
If Brad has faith so do I. It may be rare but when it hits it’s spectacular (Crosby, Mailata, Snacks, Reader, Jason Peters, etc…)
For those that say this pick smacks of Brad Holmes acting like he’s the smartest guy in the room. NEWSFLASH!!
HE IS!!
You don’t not take on high upside projects bc a coach might get a promotion elsewhere soon
He’s not even fat, that’s crazy.
I thought the best leaders surround themselves with people that are smarter than them though ![]()
This developmental player will be worth a 2nd eventually…maybe more. So, this cat is in fact, a future asset of higher value.
Yeah he definitely lost weight between playing and that workout, which is awesome. Means he can do it
It’s hard not to get excited when you see that.
I’m nervous about the price they’re paying, but this is also a very good way to look at it
Fraley could be gone in a year. I like getting a project now for him to mould and work with for a year. Is he worth a 3RP next year though, man that is tough to give up for a project.
YES!!!

Didn’t give up ANY future picks for Martin….
just 2 late 5th rounders to move from late 4th to the 3rd round.
That trade is SO misrepresented on this forum time after time!
For Manu… they gave up a likely late 3rd in 2025…
for a 4th a year earlier. Not bad value.
You don’t pay a high price for a low success rate. There are tons of low level guys with traits that get drafted every year. There are a handful that work out. So you don’t spend a future 3rd rounder for like a 5 percent chance it turns into a 2nd

Everyone on day 3 is a low success rate though. Some higher, some lower, but overall you’re lucky if you hit.
That’s why I said earlier give me ceiling over floor all day in rounds 4-7.
Got your bald hero!

do you think the Lions 3rd round pick in 2025 would be higher than #87 OA???
Let me guess, because he is bald?

Was expecting a large waist big butt type. This guy is Superman.
