He tried. He couldn’t find one.
Could he be Penei 2.0???
Dan Skipper says bu-bye. Parting is such sweet sorrow, especially the 4th time…

Amarius Mims 2.0
I think they have a great balance of now and future. I totally view this as a future move. I think this year and the future are good with this move.
Bradley is the wizard whose decisions ‘age well’ and these pundits still have a louder voice in some folks’ head than our handsome Jedi.
Sure, I can agree with that. But we gave up a day 2 pick to get that day 3 pick. So to me it has to be looked at as what are your expectations for a day 2 pick.
Day 2 vs. day 3 may be only a difference of ~30 picks.
And we get a year to mold him.
Right if it’s a difference of around 30 picks or so it’s fine. 60 wouldn’t be any good, but Brad has faith in our boys to be better than that.
Plus don’t forget if things go well, we’ll get two 3rds for someone hiring Aaron Glenn away. And maybe two more for someone hiring Agnew.
Nice… Canadian University football in the house. And he’s ■■■■■■■ massive. Definitely gonna need serious development though.
In practice, if the Lions are a team competing for deep playoff runs every year, we will not have 6-7 open spots for rookies each season, and we’re going to see more draft picks get cut in training camp. In which case, if they see a guy they love, it’s probably OK to give up a future mid-round pick.
Yup - & I wouldn’t be surprised I none of the rookies start the season. They all may have to earn reps.
How do you figure? Everything he does is with one less down and on a bigger field…and with bigger balls…lol
Excellent in the passing game as well as he can block with the best of the RBs.
Good enough to play FB/replace Cabinda?? ![]()

when the team needs OL help now.
?
I think we have excellent talent & depth along the OL
BigNatty a happy camper with the OL depth this year.

That dude is 67350 and jacked with a sub 5 40 33 1/2 in vertical. Get out of town.
Don’t nobody want to be on the outside with him coming around the edge on a pull or a trap holy crap
5 years from now, he and Sewell are the starting tackles in pro bowl every year.
I’m ecstatic because we’ve added two more Pacific Islanders to our team today. How could they possibly disappoint?
His first year in college he was tried at OG just to get him on the field and he struggled. he was moved to LT and started to thrive with more experience. He has since totally dominated the competition. He looks like the 30 year old uncle playing against the 8-year-old kids in the backyard Thanksgiving game.
Using a 3rd round pick to acquire a proven NFL talent = Davis ![]()
Using a 3rd round pick to move up and acquire a round 1 talent = Arnold ![]()
Using a 3 round pick to move up and acquire 4th round pick = Manu ![]()
Using another 3 round pick to move up and acquire another 4th round pick = Vaki ![]()
Thinking that neither Manu or Vaki are really even 4th round talents, so in essence were picked earlier than their talent would suggest… and giving up 2 3rd round picks ![]()
It was a 3rd and a 4th.
