Aaron Donald unretires, officially

Well, Lions and Rams won’t meet earlier than the playoffs. And that’ll be when Petzing and his play calling REALLY earn their keep.

Lions aren’t better then last years team at the beginning. People are forgetting how big branch and Joseph are to this def. I still have a big question about the oline as well.

Well, I’m talking DL here myself. Which looks to be much better than last year.

We would’ve had one heck of d-line for a couple years.

Ha, I don’t think anyone here doesn’t want a Super Bowl. There’s just a disagreement with how to go about getting there.

I for one will never understand all of the hand-wringing over other teams making moves to get better. Bring it the ■■■■ on.

I can agree with that so far…I’d give our upgraded DL about the same amount of high expectations as the Rams, and that’s with Darnold added. I havent felt I could say that going into a season since Brad’s gotten here.

There’ve been recent pictures of AD in the gym.

Bad news: he looks as physically imposing as ever.

Good news: two years off matters, even for Aaron Donald, who, when he retired, wasn’t quite the wrecking ball he had been a few years before.

It’s hand wringing about how other teams go about their business improving their teams compared what the Lions have done…and most said other teams have SB rings, while the Lions have empty sausage fingers

Well yes it is. McNeil gets back to his old self will help a ton

What was your plan for the Lions to get Aaron Donald? You guys are literally getting upset that a team’s player came out of retirement to return to the team he retired from. Was there another option for him?

The Rams are a talented football team, and whether some of you want to believe it or not, so are the Lions.

Actually, most don’t have Super Bowl rings. Not due to any big swings anyway. But that’s a long conversation we’ve had many times on here, no need to rehash it.

AD has been out of the league for two years. Will he really be as good or even remotely as good as he was before? I have to suspect he will have a major drop off.

He’s 35 years old can he stay healthy? Can he compete at a high level and my guess is he’ll have to be on a low snap count.

I’m not upset about it, but I just find it amusing that others act like it’s a big nothing burger, as there’s a good chance the Rams get to another SB this season with all the bold moves they’ve maded/added (over the Lions)…but that’s ok, baby steps is ok.

Maybe not being a coward but may lose our shit on occasion

No body said they can get Donald. Just the rich got richer and some how have cap space. I still think lions are way behind then a few teams in nfc

And while he was still an excellent player, his final year he was NOT classic, game-wrecking Aaron Donald.

God I hope so bud. But even if he only plays on 3rd downs, he is gonna be a serious problem for 15 to 20 snaps per game.

I’d love to ask Deadstroke about how the Rams can afford all the guys.

I dont think he understands some things/reasons some people say the things they say around here…the patronization is real. Oh shit, I just did it to! This season is gonna be fun…

I don’t expect him to be a scrub, but he’s 35 years old the expectations can’t be that He will play at a high level for a high amount of stamps
