Steelers undrafted rookie corner Beanie Bishop doing his best Kerby Joseph impression.
It’s usually not a good thing when personalities overshadow a whole team. The Jets asked for it and have got it. Their flag-bearer is a ghost of a leader. It does in fact all point back to Rodgers. No one left to throw under the bus. Makes me appreciate Goff all the more.
When teams are 2-5 at this point in the season bad things start to happen. Bad things like guys mailing it in, your players having no confidence in buying what the team is attempting to sell. AR is what happens when teams put persona over accountability.
He has such a terrible demeanor. An energy black hole.
Did he throw anyone under the bus after the game this week, too?
Two things the Jets should have realized, He’s an old declining Primadona and the favorable flags he got in GB don’t carry over to NY. (He could ask T.J. Lang)
@LineBusy I like the term energy black hole. Cap space too. ![]()
He’ll get no pity here.
Well that, and his Jets OL can’t get away with holding on virtually every play like his OL in GB did.
That’s what I mean by favorable flags. And the interception isn’t called back by some ticky tacky flag away from the play, or any other nonsense that happened in Green Bay.
It’s pretty freaking hilarious if you ask me. In the battle of the washed ups, Russell comes out the king.
But @jman told me they were still making the playoffs… I kid bud…i kid. ![]()
Dark Toadman has infected that team with his Toadies everywhere. Things (well, except for footballs) will spiral from here…
In fairness in his prime… He could scramble and make throws on the run at a Mahomes type level. But he’s old, injured and can’t move anymore. What made him special is long gone. The Jets are idiots.
Billion dollar businesses can afford to hire a shrink before they get into bed with someone like Rodgers. I can give my amateur diagnosis all the way from the jungle here. And could have saved them a lot of grief.
The Jets rival the Bears for QB history. Even Rogers goes bad there. No sympathy here.
next stop, Minnesota?
Exactly!!!
The Jets saw what Denver did with Manning and what Tampa did with Brady and thought they had the winning formula. It doesn’t work though when the late career vet you add for a championship run is visibly in decline. Rodgers was still good in his last season with Green Bay, but he was no longer the wizard who could somehow overcome Mike McCarthy’s big game incompetence and will his team to a championship. That part of his career had already ended. Maybe things would have worked out better if he hadn’t immediately blown his Achilles. Would that diminished but still good Rodgers they signed have been enough to knock off KC in the playoffs? I wouldn’t have bet on it.
Dark Helmet has infected that team with his Minions everywhere. Things (well, except for spaceballs), will spiral from there…

He has never really been a ‘leader’, he just blames others when things go wrong, especially when it’s his fault. Always has. he was just lucky enough to have the physical tools when he was younger to pull it off. Now he can’t.
