Aaron Rodgers is washed

I enjoy watching his career go up in flames.

Turns out the Packers were right. Just like they were with Favre. And given that organization’s focus on always building from within, you have to wonder how overrated Rodgers has been his entire career.

You don’t get to be MVP , etc, etc, if you are overrated. The end is near and he is an embarrassment but he isn’t a “never was”.

I hate Erin.

I do think he was one of, if not the most complete QBs to ever play

I don’t know. Matt Ryan and Cam Newton both won MVP, and Rodgers got far, far more acclaim than either of them. You can be overrated and win MVP.

Rodgers won the Super Bowl and during his prime was absolutely the most complete QB in the league.

It’s Brady / Belichick all over again with Rodgers and McCarthy. McCarthy was a much more successful coach with Rodgers than he’s been without him.

His fall was fast. In 2021 he was still productive at an MVP level but in 2022 he fell to earth and now he’s a shell of himself.

He can’t be done yet. He still needs to send dick pics to an unreceptive young lady and somehow wind up with the Vikings. Complete the prophecy!

Yet still way better than Princess Williams lol at 40 years old

Can you be overrated when you won MVP 4x?

Is there ANY chance he gets healthier this offseason and plays well next year???

His issues are less physical and more mental.

this is your brain on drugs 80s GIF

Agree that he was great.

But if he was ALL that, his playoff performances would have been better. Ask Pack fans what they think of that. In that regard, he is overrated. One SB more than a decade ago doesn’t not scream GOAT to me (I know that’s not what you’re arguing but just stating the fact). Yeah, the Pack didn’t do him a lot of favors in terms of building a team around him, but his own self-absorption was a leading cause of his failure to live up to his undeniable great talent.

And, he was probably 10X most favored QB by the zebras as well. Never saw a player get so many calls in all my years of watching.

You’re splitting hairs. He was but he wasn’t?

Great but definitely not the GOAT. How great? That part is debatable.

Those stats are not debatable.

Yep. Agree there. I suppose the sum of my opinion, FWIW, is that Rodgers is a bit overrated. Can’t argue with facts, but appraising his entire body of work can lead to somewhat different conclusions. I think he should have garnered more playoff success over the years given his natural talent with his main weakness being his personality.

Rogers as much as i hate to say it, is definitely a top 5 QB from 2010+

Like how many other QBs would you take from 2010 to today over peak rogers? Not many.

But yea dude is WASHED. But some desperate team will want to sign him or trade for him.

Tennessee or Vegas?

Except, Farve was actually still good post Packers. He took Minnesota to the playoffs.

Shout out Aaron Rodgers.

Say what you want about him as a person or QB…but he isn’t afraid to be himself.

While most of the world cowards into line for fear of being different.

Time for Rodgers to go home and watch the Lions dynasty for the next 30 years

Rodgers was a stellar regular season player but the playoffs keep him from getting listed among the best of the best. Won a Superbowl in his 2nd season starting and never got back to the big game. Kind of disappointing with how great of a player he was.

As in all discussions like this it is subjective, I really haven’t given much thought to what he does and doesn’t deserve. I guess in order for me to argue either side I would have to know what “overrated” even means, I mean, compared to what?
