Packers RB Josh Jacobs DNP

Both Josh Jacobs (knee/ankle) and Christian Watson (chest/shoulder) didn’t practice today for the Packers. Jacobs had a significant limp in the locker room, and had a brace around his knee. Their status for Saturday night’s game against the Chicago Bears is still unknown.

But, he claims he’s going to play:

Josh Jacobs, walking with a significant limp in locker room and wearing a stimulation bracelet around his injured knee, makes it clear he intends to play in Chicago. “For me, it’s harder to watch games than it is to play hurt. Ryan Wood

But how effective is he’s going to be?

I see the Bears winning this one with the Lions having to hope the 49ers beat them.

Perfect, if Bears win then we just need Baltimore to beat GB the following week and we are in playoffs

as you mentioned SF home vs Bears and we win the division

Could you imagine if we still somehow managed to win the division after all the ups and downs of this season

Packers winning just makes the path feel easier.

But what will happen, will happen.

Yeah? Lions are in just like that? Or do that have to win 3 in a row still? Something they haven’t done since September. Love the optimism, but y’all are whistling by the graveyard assuming they can go 3-0 with 2 road games, one in the snow and freezing temps against the 2nd best rushing team while the Lions haven’t been able to stop the run lately

Agreed. All of these fantasies are real if we win out. Challenging to say the least. But desperation should be at an all time max.

Packers will still win IMO. Love has a good game and we got nauseating amounts of MVP talk. That’s my base case.

Packers bearly (pun intended) beat Chicago at Lambeau Field on December 7:

For that game, they had a healthy Micah Parsons, Josh Jacobs, and Christian Watson. Parsons definitely won’t play, Jacobs doesn’t sound healthy, nor does Watson.

I think the Bears are going to beat the Packers by 10-14 points.

The Bears can run the ball. Maybe that will be enough. I think the Pack rally against the Parsons back drop and get a big win. We shall see.

I’m way more concerned with the Lions doing what they need to do to make the playoffs. Shepps definitely going through some growing pains. I mean if they could have done anything against the Rams we could have won that game.

Well yeah, playoffs start today for Lions

Gotta win 7 in a row to win it all

Besides the poor execution (penalties), bad play calling in the third quarter didn’t help.

Hey, at least there are no more trap games to get sucked into.

Bears have some injury issues at the starting WR position too:

There’s so many injuries that I don’t know what’s going to happen for us, GB or Chicago.

Nothing would surprise me at this point

But I do feel good about winning a playoff game if we get in

GB losing Parsons is … devastating for them. He seemed to be an x factor, at least from the games I watched. That said, I think they simply have more talent than Chicago does and the better quarterback.
