AG with Jets: Who he is targeting for building his staff

@Nate

Does this get it’s own thread or stay here. The list of known target for AG.

Brunell is on it. Shep is not.

Yeah this is a good spot for it now imo. Once they start going we can start new threads.

That’s a really good staff if he gets them all. Wilks and AG…I actually like AG getting a proven DC…allows him to do the Head Coach thing…if I had to bet I would say AG succeeds and Ben does not.

It wouldn’t shock me at all if AG is a far better HC than he was DC. Likewise, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Ben is a far better OC than HC.

I wonder if they will blitz much :joy:

His fate will of course depend on them finding a QB solution. But I agree that his skill set does seem ideal for a HC job.

I live here in NY and it’s a tough place to coach. The organization is a joke. I think most here are confused why you fired a defensive guy like Saleh, then hire a defensive guy like AG. Jets just seem like a mess. But yes I agree I think he’s gotta get a QB and he’s got to get some good coordinators

We are going to have to prioritize which offensive assistants we want to keep and promote.

Doesn’t seem likely that get to keep them all.

In an interview I heard AG say, when you hire me you’re getting a HC not a DC. So this aligns with what he said…he will follow through on his plan.

learned it from Dan. Pretty cool stuff.

And that’s why I think he will be successful. He carries himself authentically and has a leader of men vibe.

As Dan takes over play-calling duties, LOL.

Just like drill sergeant R. Lee Ermey. I wonder if AG will use some of his training tools.
