I don’t mind the brash personality and, in fact, I prefer the alpha dog personality in some ways but there’s a little too much “I” and “Me” in this for my liking and it’s the context of the I and Me that is a bit off putting. I also have in the back of my mind that Thibs didn’t exactly “bring guys with him” in the Utah games last year. Well, I guess he did brought the guys with him down the gutter.
His talent is undeniable, the most upside in this draft IMO, but he’s going to turn a lot of teams off the more he talks. As I said, I don’t mind the cockiness but NFL execs that are big on culture are going to have pause I think so I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s a faller tomorrow night to the back half of the top 10.
Talk this morning about Oregon pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux falling might be premature. It could be another premium pass rusher with a surprise “slide”. I’ll be on
Encouraging others is important. I don’t think you’ll find a human on this planet that would not consider that to be a good thing. Not sure what that has to do with what we’re talking about.
Ahhhh I see what he is saying now. Thank you for pointing that out @LionsBlood!
I need to wake up 1st before coming to this board! ROL
I mean as soon as my eyes opened, I opened up The Den. Had to get the Lions update news 1st thing!
Gotta love the out of nowhere, player is falling down draft boards 36 hours before the draft. To a big market team no less. One they would absolutely love to have fall to them.
Energy here imho is simply the thing you can’t see in texts, post here at the Den or tweets
It’s the non-verbal part of communication and account for 70% or more of the “what” in what someone is saying…. That’s the problem with. Written text or he said she said
Need the person - I’m person - to see hear and feel the communication….
And some get it and how to read it properly and some never do….
I thought it might have been after Laimbeer, Dumars, and Isaiah had kicked his butt, employing the “Jordan Rules”, en route to the Pistons Championship…lol.
It’s possible that they got so much money on Hutch as #1 early that they don’t want any more on him to balance their books. Hutch still makes a lot of sense to the Jags. But we’ll see soon…
