I donāt think that chaos can survive a best of 7 series. Tigers need at least two starters in the next two series to win it all. Tonight is Reese Olsenās audition. If he screws the pooch and makes Skubal have to save us on Saturday, then I think Montero gets a real start for game 1 of the ALCS.
Tigers do have three guys who have started several games in Detroit, the three you mention.
They also have Madden and Hurter who started all year in the minors, so plenty of options available. I do think we will see Skubal, Olson(like tonight) and Montero start moving forward
I mean, technically, they have Maeda too. Having someone and wanting to use that someone are two veeeeerrrrry different things.
