Lol guys thx for the poops… But seriously a 7 game series is very different. Might need a guy to eat 5 innings in a Tigers blowout in game 3 or 4… Again this is hypothetical but much more realistic in a 7 game series.

Currently they have five starters on the playoff roster plus the pen guys a few of which can go 3-4 innings as well.
Plus adding Maeda means you remove either a pitcher, better pitcher than Maeda, or a position player. Removing a position player eliminates the lineup flexibility for Hinch which is why I don’t see either happening.
