Agreed. Look at the salary cap right now and it looks amazing but that is gonna change rapidly in the next 1 to 2 seasons.
But @WestCoastLionsFan is right. It’s the product of nailing draft picks. Much rather pay our own guys who know the culture.

Graham is unlikely to get big money. He is a journeyman vet who has recently dealt with injuries and poor play. Plus he absolutely loves it here.
My guess is they work out a 3 year deal for around 6-7mil a year.
Jonah has been subpar more often than not this year. Unless he comes back on a 1 year deal, I’d rather draft a player to compete with Sorsdal.
That could be, but FAs is unpredictable and he played pretty good here this year. Some team could throw money his way but unless it’s a cheap team friendly deal I don’t think they will get into any kinda bidding war for him.
Alim grading higher than Chris Jones, 2023-24 Pro Bowler and All Pro?
My goodness.
Imagine if they can get Houston on track again as a pass rusher and able to hold his own as a run defender? Houston, Alim, and Hutch has the makings of a top-3 DL.
Dare we even hope that Levi comes around?
I don’t think he gets anywhere near that. No more than 2 years and no more than $7 total. That’s more than he made this year and more than he’d get from anyone else and he likely wants to stay and compete for a starting job.
Glasgow played well above average at multiple positions this year. He is only 31 years old. The entire league is desperate for OLine help. No way he doesn’t get 5mil AAV at minimum and I wouldn’t even be surprised if someone desperate gave him 10mil. Unless the money is drastically more, I think he would rather come back for less.
You never really know how the league will react to iOL in FA, especially older ones. I mean Glasgow didn’t have much interest last year. Sure he played well, but he’s also a year older.
Last year the only iOL to sign for more than $5M/year were young guys. Lindstrom, obviously, but also Nate Davis (26 at the time), Connor McGovern (25), Ethan Pocic (27), Ben Powers (26, and a starting center), Garrett Bradbury (27, and barely over $5M, and a center), and Nick Gates (27). Brad Bozeman was 28 at the time, but he only came in at $6M/year and was also Baltimore’s center, which imo is harder to replace.
The one outlier is Isaac Seumalo, but even he was over 2 years younger than Glasgow will be at the time of signing any new contracts in March. And coming off a much better year than even Glasgow has had this year.
Graham has been very outspoken that this is where he wants to be. As long as our offer is fair, we’ll get him back.
He’s probably got $25m in the bank at this point. He wants to be home around a bunch of guys that he loves.
