He’s excellent, and played really well this year when healthy.
Alim was a beast this year.
Funny how when you get in shape and lose your big ol belly and a pocket full of jelly… you improve drastically
Looking forward to a lot more. Alim is still only 23 years old

Alim talking to his agent this offseason…

This also goes for Sewell and St. Brown.
Those 3 fellas will be looking for massive new deals soon
The young Lion defenders look great!
Yeah he step up as that interior pass rusher and still great against the run. We need someone to compliment him . But he’s force.
23/24 is about the time young men start gaining their man strength, this along with losing the extra fat and learning how to play against the men across from him, has him playing great ball.
He’s gonna be big in this game. Should be feeling back to his self hopefully.
He has future all pro potential, we have several extensions that should be handed out this off-season. Time to strike now as they will only get more expensive.
St Brown
Sewell
Alim
Goff
Essentially a Billion dollars for those 4. No joke
Sheila better get the vault ready
My guy.
Love him.
Keep it going.
Sheila doesn’t need to consult the vault. She just picks up the phone and gets Disner in her office.
Love Mike Disner.
The good news is that they are all actually under contract for 2024
The downside of drafting good is now Brad has to figure out a way to get these guys paid, happy and keep the band together. Eventually hard choices will have to be made but hopefully we are a couple years away from that time.
iMO, those 4 are must resigns. Guys like Barnes, Kerby, potentially Paschal, etc, those guys may be the ones we make hard choices on.
That’s why I want nothing to do with handing big money to Jonah. Guards are much easier to replace and we have a lot of people to resign coming up.
The identity of the Detroit Lions, IMO, is a dominant o-line. We need to keep investing in that, especially if Goff is the longterm QB.
I’m beginning to agree, after alot draft simulators, a replacement there could be best value best player come draft time. Guys like Barton, Kingsley and others seem to always be there. Were the DE and DTs and CBs are not always. A guy like Barton is a plug and play player and probably wouldn’t notice Jonah missing at all. Alot of times guy I want is not there so I either reach or take a lineman.
For the people expecting a big free agent… i expect Jonah, Graham, and Josh Reynolds to get new contracts. And i expect Goff, Amon-Ra, Alim, and possibly Sewell to get extensions.
Luckily we have some cap geniuses in house to work all that out. Hopefully they can still manage to offer CJGJ a few bucks to come back too after all that.
Yeah but you guys say this every year. And who said anything about signing big FAs ? I don’t think they will spend big money on Jonah or Graham.
