Lol love it. Where they at? I know of atleast 2.
I was one who said we might be interested. Everyone who feels the need to gloat, go ahead.
Let’s also remember Richardson has started 14 games, 3 of which he didn’t finish. If we judged Josh Allen after his first 14 games, we’d look like idiots.
I was a fan bc of the upside. But at the same time I recognized the extreme risk. I think that’s was consensus amongst detractors and supporters tbh.
And that his god given talent is through the moon. That ultimately may not matter but if people don’t understand how rare the underlying tools are then they don’t pay all that much attention to the draft process.
I still maintain that durability remains the most concerning element of his football career to date. If he can’t get the reps he’s got no shot.
Raises hand
After how he played at Houston and after Kiper gushed over him I was all in.
Just looked back. Dude had 5 fumbles in his first start
For liking a college prospect?
See I think the only way he sorts through this with reps.
The biggest problem is Steichen inclination is to go Hurts with him but he hasn’t proven durable enough to play that way.
I was in camp, ‘great tools but not refined enough to be a top ten pick’. late second or third made more sense to me.
I think there were some relatively violent arguments about it here. haha
everyone these days is so mo’ chill now that the Lions are winning. Less flame wars.
I think everyone agreed with the first part. I also don’t think anyone thought he’d be refined early in his career.
Again, I think the biggest problem is most of his supporters thought he could play like Cam or young Josh or early Hurts while he figured things out. But his body just won’t handle it. Or perhaps it’s a toughness issue. Not Sue.
No. There’s nothing wrong with that.
I recall a few guys being over the top about it though. We are all wrong on prospects at one point or another so we all get a side of crow.
I thought there was also some “insider” talk of lions being very interested.
Possible the Lions may have put some rumors out there to influence the draft. Taking a project QB that high wouldn’t make any sense given the way they built this team and his Goff and BJ have become so in sync
I can’t talk because I loved Bryce. But yeah, not surprised in the least.
Actually, I don’t.
100% he was talked about in here. It was one of those cases of his intangibles jumped off the charts and the noise was he was going to go high in the top 10 and he did. The gamble was could he get with the right coaching staff that could unlock his potential. Clearly, the lions didn’t think they needed to make the move and they took gibby and captain jack. And their faith in Goff has been incredible to watch.

By the time AR is accurate he will be slow.
I do. Generational talent this, weapon that. Same with Malik Willis
He’s a specimen for sure, I loved him in the draft… The weird part is, by all accounts, he’s a humble dude who works his butt off. I have no idea why he has not progressed more
The first step of being a QB is you have to want to play QB. That means not running around like a jack a##. Richardson hasn’t even reached that step. Malik Willis looks like he has maybe reached that step
Richardson was the youngest starting qb in the league this year… and last year. The dude is young and inexperienced. Hes basically a college sophomore. Hes as young as stafford was when he came into the league and with alot less games played in college than stafford. Remember yr 2 stafford? Give him reps and time.
I was close with my crystal ball but not quite. More happy with how our draft transpired
