I went years ago, a QB from my hometown was playing. It was a lot of fun tbh. High paced action

As far as Arena football. it’s a pretty silly form of football if you ask me. amazing more guys don’t get seriously hurt running into the boards.

My neighbor played/coached Arena league.

I was a season ticket holder right on the boards for the Albany Empire for a few seasons before Antonio Brown purchased them and they folded - it’s a lot of fun in person. Players talk junk with you, and you’re literally feet away from the action. I caught a couple balls during games off tips and once a fumble popped up when he got hit into the boards and I caught it. For the price and entertainment value it’s actually pretty fun if you have a good team and crowd.

I saw the Grand Rapids Rampage win the Arena Bowl championship, 64-42. Saw like.4 games that year, was lotsa fun, but that was like (was gonna say 15 years ago, self censored and revised to 20, checked google and it was 25). Holy hell I’m old.

Never been to a game, shorter field and lack of sidelines bothers me.

However, if they had an 8man game with 8man regulation field I’d totally check it out!

Saw the Detroit Drive back in the 90s. Andre Ware came out at halftime (he was just drafted and hadn’t signed yet) and threw a football through a tire from about 10 yards. The crowd erupted. It was the last accurate pass he ever threw.

I went to a few 25 + years ago but not to the new league formed last year.

Is it basically the same as before?

Well there is nothing to win…Im just showing you the other side of your argument my friend. Sure it is about football, but so is the NFL Draft. At least with the draft it is more Lions related than Arena Football :smiley:
