Please I need to talk someone about this
Probably not the best person to talk to on it but my wife had hers removed due to thyroid cancer after we had our second child. Feel free to message me and I will gladly chat or relay my experiences etc. Regardless on whether you reach out or not please know you have a community here for you.
My mom dealt with thyroid cancer treatment many years ago and had her thyroid removed. She takes medicine to replace what the thyroid used to produce. I don’t know much about it but happy to ask her any questions you might have. Feel free to message me.
I don’t anything about it, but, I’ll keep your situation in my thoughts and prayers.
Creator knows your needs.
Yes. I know a good amount. Feel free to private message (from medical side, not personal experience) if any questions.
Im freaking out.
What’s the issue?
I had/ have Hoshimoto’s disease or syndrome for awhile.
My wife needs to have biopsy on her thyroid
I had Thyroid Taylor on my fantasy team one year. Wasn’t great. But then I got a team Dr. gig with the Chargers and got even.
Does that have something to do with Teryaki sauce?
Don’t freak out. It’s not productive. Wait for the results and then you work towards solutions.
@Martymcfly2017 As tough as it sounds do your best to follow this advice. Same advice my daughter gave me when she was diagnosed with cancer which I tried to follow, albeit not very well.
How is your daughter?
Cancer free to this point.
Her one year post chemo checkup is October 8/9.
Once again she is handling it far better than me from a stress point.
What wonderful news. That is awesome.
I used to work with a guy that had to have his removed, i dont think its that big of a deal, he functioned just fine afterwards.
Its the cancer part that scares the shit out of me. If she does have cancer that is
My wife takes medication for her thyroid. So far there hasn’t been cancer affiliated with it. But she will be medicated going forward.
Hope your wife is not dealing with cancer and there is a non-invasive solution.
I’ve got this as well. Luckily my thyroid function is still doing well without medication yet. I’m enjoying my time before that happens though as it doesn’t seem fun to go through.
