I see that Yahoo has it, but I always like NFL.com fantasy the best. They have that draft now feature. Does anyone know when that starts?

Depends on the system and your league but they all obviously “start” when the NFL season starts.

Doesn’t it usually start like a month before pre-season? I’m thinking July.

And If you are playing CFL Fantasy Football you may need to get some professional help.

I just had my draft for a keeper league…LOL. We did the week after the NFL draft.
We had 8 hours per pick and just slow rolled it.
Moving forward we will only have 2-3 rounds and do it like 2 weeks after the NFL draft.

8 hours seems like an opportunity for a guy to make his picks at times to screw over the following manager lol. Like waiting until 1am to make his pick hoping the following GM clocks out. Dick move but a surprising number of dicks get off on things like that haha.
I’m not a fan of Dynasty’s or super early draft leagues. But if you are going to have one, I believe it should be a 24 hour time limit. Either that or a 24 hour time bank for the entire draft that auto activates when your 8 hours runs out. Even with that, other members of the league should be attempting a 15 minute warning call if someone’s clock is expiring. These kind of leagues are for die hards and people obsessed with FF. Auto picking for this type of league should never happen imo.
So the draft shut down from 10pm until 8am. You could pick off hours but it did not effect the pick clock. We did have a guy who would take 6-8 hours and on the last round we all rushed to make sure he had to pick before 10pm so the draft would end. We had maybe 25 rounds. It was madness.
Moving forward we have just 3 rounds per draft so it will be quick.

Draft took 2 weeks. Weekends everyone picked pretty quick. Weekdays it slowed waaaayyyyy down due to people working. No auto picking from anyone. Honestly it was a pretty easy draft as you could plan easily 2-3 rounds ahead. We will see how it goes. I think were these league fall apart is when 1 guy has an ass team and he realizes that is his plight in life for the next 5 years and quits.

Exactly. Thats why it’s for absolutely die hards only. I consider myself a huge diehard fantasy guy and even I have no interest in this kind of league…
I actually run a complicated keeper league myself but we don’t have a separate rookie draft and we don’t start talking draft until basically preseason starts. Our league has almost no manager turnover and it’s completely unique to any other I’ve ever seen. Yet still remains pretty basic and easy to understand despite being, for lack of a better phrasing, complicated
This league along with about 5 online pay leagues (mostly ladder) is my yearly fantasy lineup. I’ve had to block so many FB groups that constantly talk dynasty trades cause it drives me crazy haha. I don’t see the fun in having 2 juggernaut teams, 6 middling, and 4 complete dumpster fires attempting to rebuild. For me, it’s important that everyone has a chance yearly rather than trying to be a GM when the commitment doesn’t really exist
