Anyone lose power :update its back

We will not get it back till 3 pm tomorrow. House is at 59 already. I dont know what to do.

You live in the thumb? Heard most of that area has no power.

Shit. How do they know 3pm tomorrow?

Layers… tons of layers…plus go to the mall or restaurant that has power to warm up

Where are you? And I know that Consumers/DTE have resource pages for these things. Keep us updated/in the loop, buddy.

DTE? Because they blatantly lie about restoration time on their app.

I meant they could have tips/ideas/resources. Let’s keep this focused on helping Marty.

I live in the Lansing area. My wife got a update saying 3pm 1/14/2024. I think they made a error, because 10 minutes after i sent this message it came back on.

I agree–was just asking Marty if that’s who it was because of our recent experience (and the testimonials given at the government questioning this past year).

Wind doesn’t seem quite as bad as expected so that’s going to help tremendously. OSHA won’t let workers up in a bucket at 35+ mph winds.

Great news that it is back already!

Gas stove? That’s my first thought.

Hang blankets over doorways so the heat gets trapped in one room.
