Not sure but I did post about footing. Impacts leverage and quickness and we definitely looked slower and less powerful than GB. I think (as Anazalone said) the Lions got their asses kicked but there are always multiple reasons and a lot of small advantages can add up to big gains. They looked unprepared, I hated the offensive game plan, multiple missed assignments, crowd noise, etc. - any additional reasons just add to the ass kicking
I struggle to believe this is even possible. Like if I ran that department we would go to every game with a full alotment of gear. Regardless of the weather or assumptions. All manner of spikes would be available for all players. Along with any equipment tweaks the players like based on hot/cold/wet/dry….ect.
I really struggle to believe there was a problem with the cleats. And if there was I would have a very long discussion with that group.
Oooh, this is good. A nice conspiracy theory to divert the attention away from the staff. Someone on social media needs to really get loud about this one. Just forward it to Carlos or something.
it wouldn’t surprise me. Green Bay has been doctoring its field since the 60’s. I read the book “headslap” about deacon Jones and his career. He mentioned it several times. I believe they also were rumors of them turned off the heaters under the field for the ice bowl against the Cowboys. What’s the saying “ if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying “ ?
