Anyone watching college games tonight?

OK st and Miami or Texas and Colorado?

Anyone we should be keeping an eye on?

The commentators. One of them might be our next GM.

I’m sure there are a bunch of Tylan Wallace fans here. He opted out at halftime by the way.

I remember when we had LaGarrett Blount. We would hand him the ball, and he would opt out mid run.:joy:

Gundy said it was planned pregame. Gundy’s call. King (Miami QB) hurting his knee probably influenced the decision on when too.

Yeah, but he had already caught 6 passes and his team was up by 11. I don’t blame players who pass all together because it’s THEIR future at risk, not some old guy betting on the game sitting in a Lazy boy. He’s a little hard to gauge because in general there isn’t much for D in the Big 12. Spencer Sanders has the ability to move around, he’s fairly accurate, but I think his ceiling is career backup. Coming up in the Big 12 is Iowa State, and Hall is the real deal at RB. They also have a really explosive senior who barely got to touch the ball, Nwangwu. Purdy is not NFL material IMO, Chase Allen at TE is good and Kolar at TE should get drafted by the 3rd round. LB Rose is someone to watch at a position of need. I don’t believe that Ossai played for Texas last night, but he was second team all Big 12 at DE AND LB.
Ossai (6’4/253) was one of the Longhorns’ standouts on the defensive side of the football this season, as in nine games he tallied 55 total tackles (16.0 for loss), 5.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.
How he performs at the combine is going to matter but no matter I think he doesn’t get out of the 2nd round.

I think player sitting out bowl games (or weird things like this where he sat out a half) needs to be taken on a case by case basis and the totality of the other factors need to be looked into. Some guys have sat out bowl games and when you looked at the rest of their career and actions, it showed a stand up kid who simply made a business decision in his last game. But then you have guys like Leonard Fournette. He had a history of quitting on his team.
