We are a good team. Elite this year. Let’s win a super bowl and then look back and wonder how good this team is…not 10 games into the season as it is going on.

I think it’s really funny that I created this thread kind of as a joke when we were up 34-6 over Dallas, and the team keeps showing us that it might not actually be a joke.

We beat the 99 Rams. So did the Titans (the team they beat in the Super Bowl). Its not the flex we thought it would be.

The offensive personnel is sort of different but the mentality is the same….take what we want not what you gives us. They probably had better had better SPTs than the current Lions do and the two respective defenses are about even

I really, really don’t want to jinx it.
But, since I don’t believe in jinxes, because the universe is indifferent, I’ll say this: if we keep playing at this pace, and close out with a Super Bowl win, this Lions team will be in the conversation as the greatest team of all time.

So my dad and I are talking about going to the 49ers game. He was born in SF and been a 49ers fan for 65 years. We watched the NFCC game together which was a bit painful. I’m visiting my folks in Palm Springs and we’re driving back from a game at the Coliseum yesterday and talking about travel plans.
He says, “we could buy tickets now or wait. Prices could go down. Or could go up if the 49ers need that game to get in the playoffs.”
Me: “yep”
Him: “bet the Lions are dying for that to be the situation.”
Me: “yep”
Him: “you guys are a petty bunch.”
Me: “yep”

Feels like they are really making that a priority now…and its creative, it’s not just the predictable screen pass or a post route concept…its drags ans wheel routes and hook N ladders when they are already moving…JAMO and Gibby it feels like just scratching yhe surface.
