Yeah when your coach is purposefully trying to ruin your career it probably gets a little stressful. McVay wanted Goff gone, and used the press to do his dirty work.

There are still ‘journalists’ out there believing what they were fed, even though the proof is right in front of their eyes. Goff > Stafford. We got a steal++++++.

I remember thinking Holmes was already in on Goff that year one. When they drafted Amon Ra they had him on the phone and declared excitedly, ‘You’re going to be catching passes from Jared Goff!’

A GM doesn’t say that to a new draft pick if he doesn’t think highly of his QB
