I’m sure glad I’m not the Bears GM. I would have traded down from 1 to 2 or 3 and taken Marvin Harrison and then taken MCcarthy at 9 (grew up in Chicago).
I wouldn’t have traded Fields.
Fields > Williams in 2024
McCarthy the future in 2025
Marvin Harrison > Odunze

This is where i am at. They are fhe organization and fan base i hate the most. Ive had fun convos w packer fans and viking fans. Hell, my kid had a soccer game earlier this month and a family of 5 were all wearing viking jerseys and we had a fun convo. Bear fans? Every single encounter is confrontational. A random “fu ck you and ur lions bitch” from a bears fan who is in dc and seeing me walking on ghe street in a lions hoodie. A “dan campbell is a bitch” from bears fans at a bar…nothing ever civil or rational. So yeah, fu ck em.

like to bash them, but I can’t, we used to lose so damn bad , I thought the league would vote to remove The Detroit Lions-we have been right there and it took a mighty long time to straighten it all out. I can bag on them and laugh-but I know how hard it was to get here. that said- they just have some uphill work to do to return to the ring as a legit threat-it might take three maybe four years…but I figure they will be a worthy team again at some point that’s hard to beat.
