If you exclude the contract extension part it’s not that rare. Derek Carr and then he turned into a pumpkin again. Matt Stanford. It looks like Stroud might be that way potentially.
Young QB finds winning formula. DCs adjust. Young QB takes a lot of time to find answers but once he does has many counterpunches queued up.

Why does the extension matter?
Cause some guys change when they get a few hundred million. Just like guys having monster seasons in contract years… Pretty common.
Taking Agnew with him would be a bean bonus and I don’t think Brad would miss a beat, much like Les Snead carried on just fine without Brad.
Right, but plenty of guys don’t. We can’t say one way or the other which one Lawrence is yet, but he’s had enough peak plays - and was a good enough prospect - that I have a lot of faith he hasn’t changed. I could be wrong of course, but that’s the bet I’d make 100%. He needs a legitimate offensive system though, just like every QB does.

No idea…but Kyle Van Noy just had a sack and celebrated non stop with the money celebration… Sack got him a quarter million… Money motivates a lot of guys.
