Bears trendline is moving up. Lions trendline is moving down, or at least flat.
Johnsen is teaching the Bears how to win. Being smart and disciplined is usually a good thing. It’s proving true again.

The Bears are one year away from having to give $400M plus to Caleb and Odunze…

One of two things is about to happen…. Bears win one vs Packers and beat 49ers and Lions is they don’t. If they lose to SF, GB once and Detroit a 2nd time…. Then what?

I’m not interested in predicting what will happen. I’m just saying they will either win 4 of the next 5 or they won’t.

The funniest part is the same group worried about the sky falling are those same posters who expected a SB run this year.

Even if the Bears back into a Division by splitting with Detroit, GB and Minny… and playing 2 other teams all year… so what? I’d expect a 1st place schedule to give them a 10-7 year at best next year.

He’s doing that with a garbage QB. If Chicago ever gets a real QB then look out.

Sooo… Chicago is part of the territory I run. Their fans mostly worship him. If they win a division in year 2? He’s getting a 275M extension. If not are they taking a QB mid to late round 1 in 2 years? Are they cutting Caleb

Cmon you are silly brother

I’d like your list of “real QBs”

Caleb Williams is not a top 20 QB in the league. There are alot of people that share that opinion :upside_down_face:

That’s not at all a list unless I’m missing something.

I’m in that group…

Lions have scored 37 more points and allowed 33 points less that the Bears.

The Bears lead the league in turnovers forced by the D- which gives credit to Ben for hiring Allen…

JJ

Goff

Dak

Geno

J Daniel’s (banged up)

Rattler

Huntley

Flacco

Dart (left game leading when concussed)

JJ

Rudolph

Hurts

  • So Goff put 50 on them…. Dak played without Lamb.. the rolled Philly though respect

Literally look at the group of QBs the Bears have faced, and the turnovers and short fields make more sense

Again they will either win 3-4 more games or they won’t

DJ Moore- $$$

Thuney- $$$

Daha - $$

Jackson- $$

Wright- 1st

Burden- 1st

Loveland- 1st

Odunze- 1st

It’s not like a shit load of high resources aren’t already invested It’s not like Ben did this with the Jets or Giants roster

Lol. Yeah…. I don’t have to make a list just because some casual fan demands it.

Agree… lol

  • Allen
  • Mahomes (fading quickly)
  • Drake Maye?
  • Joe Burrow (injuries)
  • Hurts
  • Stafford (age)
  • Lamar (playoffs and injuries)
  • Goff
  • Baker
  • Nix
  • J Love
  • Dak

Jayden, Herbert, Darnold, Purdy… ??

I can say- JJ, Kyler, Shough, Young, Penix, Ward, Geno, Shadeur/Gabriel, Rodgers, Tua, Fields are easily all far worse

Maybe 14-20th somewhere in year 2?

That’s fair. Keep visiting a fan forum and offering almost exclusively negative 9 word proclamations.

I TOLD YOU SO!!! Except when I’m wrong, and then I don’t was to talk about it?

Schedule strength and point differential are not in Ben’s favor. Water will find its level…. OR- he will be the next Bill B- if he is… what we do?

let’s honestly consider just for a 2nd that maybe Ben could be the BEST HC on the planet? What could actually do?

That’s code for I like to talk out of my ass and no have accountability.

I’d gladly give any list, data or stats.

I back my shit up!

You actually take pride in being a weak ass. Atleast you own it!

I have him ranked as the 17th best QB in the NFL. Anybody who thinks he’s not a top 20 QB is living in an echo chamber. He’s inconsistent as a passer but his ability to extend plays and avoid sacks is second to none. Hoping he doesn’t put it together with Ben, because that’ll be a problem.

They now have serious momentum and fair play to them for beating what was put in front of them but they have milked a fourth placed schedule and rode their luck in a number of wins neither of which can be relied upon in the medium term.

They have a sticky enough December which will give us a true barometer - but credit where credit is due they look to be rounding into form

Maybe Ben had more to do with our good Oline play then some here might think ?

we kind of have only ourselves to blame. Our issues with pass rush have been there for 2 years now. We went from 3 pro bowlers on the online to 1 and of the replacements, the center is playing out of position.

Didn’t hire a very good OC who was fired for doing exactly what he did here.

The jury is out on DC, but when crossers beat your ass and you don’t adjust well…that’s not a good look.

Right now, green bay and chicago are better than us, and we should be at the height of the rebuild from when brad and dan took over, but we’ve already slipped to 3rd in just the division. 5th year in and we had a great rise, but have now settled down to above average.

And an occasional field goal wouldn’t be terrible.
