Ben Johnson: F*ck the Packers

Wow! Not gonna lie, if I was a Bears fan ( even typing that makes me sick to my stomach), I would be loving Ben Johnson. I loved Schwartz’s incredible emotion…..throwing headsets down after game winning FG, etc.

Need SF to win today and then Matthew can go to Soldier Field and KO these damn Bears.

Well he said there was “a lot of noise coming from their building up north” this week. Also that post game handshake was something else. He was genuinely pissed off about something they said or did. Id love to know what it is.

That whole thing goes back to Ben’s introductory presser talking about having gotten used to beating lafleur. That made this kind of personal. At this point Ben has created a personal rivalry between them and that’s what we seen. That’s all we’re going to get from them 2, a quick, glancing handshake with “good game” and nothing else.

Are you allowed to do that? Or is a fine coming? Seems like the NFL cash cow would not approve…

THIS!

i actually came on here to post this.

My gosh it’s hard to hate this guy.

Look, Brad, Dan, Ben, AG were pretty damn special. They all built this thing together man. Ben to his credit was getting job offers left and right but was pretty damn loyal to the Lions.

I cheer AG on fully. The Jets are one of my favorite teams because of him. I would have cheered on Ben Johnson had he went somewhere else. But he’s with the Bears so that makes him the enemy.

There is nothing I loath more than the GB Packers. Then he does this. My gosh its is hard to hate this guy.

Can’t argue with ■■■■ the Packers.

It’s a connundrum.

FTP is never wrong, but agreeing with the Bears is never right.

All I know is that Da Bears getting smashed next week will make things right in the universe.

He legitimately hates them like a fan hates them.

I don’t know why but man I respect it. You never see stuff like this from coaches

Oh for sure… ■■■■ the Bears is next weeks motto

This will be the summit of Ben’s career. Mark my words.

The Lions will return with a vengeance next season and bury the Bears for the next decade.

Caleb is simply not SB champ material. And Ben is stuck with him until he’s not. And then they will start over again, probably trading up for another bust. Rinse and repeat.

My man. Agree 100%. Predicted it from the start - they are good for a year, then regress. I don’t think they can hang with the Rams or Eagles.

From your lips to God’s ears my friend.

Calebs 2 big weaknesses are processing and accuracy. I have seen guys improve on accuracy. Including Stafford. Processing is pretty much permanent but you can mask it if you surround with enough talent and stress playing inside structure. But Mahomes is not reachable without high level processing.

Go watch the handshake after the week 14 game… Almost Ben gave Lefluer the same handshake that Matt gave him after that game

Yep was wondering what that was all about, mirror of the handshake Lefluer gave Johnson earlier in the season. So looked to be Johnson returning the favor

he too often turns down the easy short throw in favor of a low% deeper throw

I can lay out a few QB’s with rings that probably weren’t SB Champ material. Some playcallers can highly assist their QB in being successful by scheming up plays that make their life easier. Ben Johnson is that guy. But some here will continue to be convinced that he’s “Josh McDaniels and Caleb Williams will be out of the league in 2 years” lol. We’ll see. They won a playoff game and are moving on. We’re looking at draft prospects.
