Tbh I would root really hard for Ben if he wasn’t in division. I like Ben. I just can’t do the root for a rival thing.

Yea, I struggle when we situationally NEED to root for a division rival, especially the Bears and the Packers. Makes me throw up a little in my mouth while doing it and want to take a shower and scrub myself with a wire brush afterward.
But yea, I like Ben as a coach and love the creativity he brings to the offense. He does so many things were I am like “I have watched football for 60 years and never seen that before!” 
Then the next week other teams are doing it 
I certainly can’t root for the Bears to win a Super Bowl. I want them to keep living in the 1980’s and I sure would like to match their Super Bowl win because then we would be tied with the Bears and ahead of the Vikings trailing only the Packers for Super Bowl wins in our Division.

The one that gets me are the ones who swore AG was gonna be a better HC than Ben. According to said people, Ben was not a leader of men and would not be very good. AG, was indeed, a leader of men and therefore will be a much better HC…

I agree….just pointing out the ones who wrote the final chapter at this time a year ago. It was already decided by some that AG was the better HC. Of course I always said that people on this board were just trying to convince themselves of that because they were more at ease with losing AG then they were losing Ben…which I believe I am right on that!

I’m among these ppl. I think the story reminds to be told. AG took over a very different situation than Ben did. Ben has done much better than I thought he would. I still hope he flunks out in Chicago. Still rooting for AG too.
Ben will likely turn out to be better than I thought. I think AG is trying to emulate what Detroit did here, and acquired draft picks in order to do so.
We shall see what happens. I’ve definitely been wrong before.
