His acceleration when he sees an opening is elite.
I suspect these kids just might speed up these bits in places for effect, but yeah he’s a rocket from the jump.
The move on the Vikes safety #21 at around the 45 second mark is dirty.
WCLF = ONLY person to have him mocked in the first round in Den mock draft last year. Granted I had him going at #18 but I definitely saw the value.
His GT tape was better than his Alabama tape in my opinion and exactly what I expected of him in the NFL. It’s not just that the first guy almost never gets him down, the first guy ends up on the ground with an armful of nothing.
Shouldn’t be a surprise based on his tape, but he’s very physical and doesn’t shy from contact. I think a lot of folks had him being much more finesse than power based on his build. But he’s the complete package.
Elite handsomeness too
Outstanding hair game ![]()

Same. I don’t follow the college guys or know enough to know where guys do/don’t get drafted, but he was my #1 guy I wanted to target! Loooove the acquisition - my favorite lion, for sure.

Ummmmm…

Great tape. Utter dogshit music. Loosely defined

Obvious blasphemy.

You sir, have won the “spit out my beer a little” award for the day of 8/25.
Ill be honest, i always hold my breath. Ya know the shelf life of a running back. I just hope he plays 6-7 years etc at a high level. And not a todd gurley kinda run.
He reminds me in that aspect of Barry. (no, this is not a comparison). He just wiggles and maneuvers in ways that he doesn’t take like that BIG shot. Granted, we’re talking about one year vs. 10, but I think you get the point.

Splitting carries with Monty should hopefully prolong his career.

THIS.
Barry, better than any RB in the hiistory of the NFL new how to avoid big hits. He was a master at it. Gibbs, while being more prone to seeking out contact, is also very skilled at avoiding it.

Bingo. Barry even said something to the affect of “I didn’t really like getting hit. So I tried not to get hit.”. So simple, yet so true.
I don’t think it is a stretch to say we have the best #1 WR/RB/TE combo in the league. San Fran has an argument, but I’d take St Brown and Laporta over Ayuik and Kittle.
I also don’t think it’s a given that mccafrey is better than Gibbs.
Literal goat. doesnt’ get near enough credit because he is a “punter”.
Sure wish there was a way to use him on more plays.
