I’ve always like Michigan State’s brand of football which, when it works, is first and foremost great defense. They need a coach that can get them back to their roots. I wonder if the current interim coach will end up being coach.
This is only Big ten. Ncaa Probably isnt done yet
Plus, pretty consistent WR factory.
I’ll promise we finish the season with me. My health isn’t perfect, but I’m sure i’LL last the season.
Are you ok?
Also I say MSU goes after Deion. Why the heck not
I’m Fox-level awesome, bro!
Ok cool!!! Sorry I probably misread the post.
Stay Fox level awesome man!
Please no.
I was kidding but on one hand I would love that kind of recognition to come to MSU. And Deion vs Harbaugh, if Harbaugh sticks around after this year? That would be cool. They played against each other and now they’d be coaching against each other!
Edit: to clarify that recognition to come to MSU football. Obviously they are nationally recognized and respected for basketball
Yeah. There will be 10,000 word articles that will say the same thing as you did…because a lot of people are…um, interested.
If deion picks a school it will be texas a&m. Msu is going cheap
Imagine Colorado losing a second consecutive coach to MSU …
I wouldn’t what deion at msu. Msu should fined the next it guy who is in the nfl.
IMO this should be the end of any punishments, to include from the NCAA.
If this scheme of Stalions ran from the 2021 through 2023 seasons then that’s 3 seasons that folks can claim the teams Michigan played were disadvantaged. So you can figure that in those 3 seasons Michigan would have played any team they played 3 times. So to even it up Michigan receives a punishment that puts them at a disadvantage for 3 games as well.
So the NCAA can continue their investigation if they want, but at the end of it any punishments should be considered “time served” already.
I’m personally hoping this was a conversation that was already had with the NCAA and that’s why Michigan decided to accept the B1Gs punishment now.
That seems very unlikely. If the NCAA was involved, it would’ve been included.
It’s more likely Michigan was shown whatever evidence the NCAA had shared with the conference, and said “We could’ve made it far worse.” And despite a lot of ink, the bottom line is the conference appeared to have Michigan between a rock and a hard place.
In a court, facts, evidence, and contracts matter. It doesn’t and didn’t matter that the judge attended UM.
Now, the NCAA could very well consider it time served. I hope it does. 3 games is a lot especially considering he’ll be out against OSU. In scales of magnitude, there’s no way the NCAA can ignore that.
They could get a one year bowl ban beginning in 2024, but that seems unlikely.
I still think that if UM wins it all, Harbaugh takes off. He could have a job waiting for him in Chicago if he wants. But having four games of suspension in one season is not normal.
I can appreciate that. I would love him to go there to bring the attention and recruits and of course money… but I’d love them to find the new Tom izzo too for football. I felt like with dantonio they were on the verge of it because they competed so well against Michigan albeit in weak years for Michigan.
I hope they find a good coach who will be committed to the school and have the energy to work through this new world of college football. I’m wondering if the old guards like saban are going to start checking out because of how much it’s changing
Another Sparty fan here. I am in no way a Michigan fan but it would be awesome to see a National title in the State of Mi.
Yes and uofm beats msu on weak years. But tucker still has a winning record vs them. Big ten in whole is dog s hit
These things are completely arbitrary. Look at the Deshaun Watson case. The courts looked at that evidence and wouldn’t touch it. The NFL laid down a harsh punishment regardless. Due process is a requirement in the courts. It’s not in sports. You’d like to think it was, but it sure as hell isn’t a requirement.
