I really really really hate this move. Melton was one of my late round sleepers and can get open. Watched him play at Rutgers - a go-to receiver, if you can actually be that for Rutgers with the horrendous QB’s they’ve been stuck with lately. We better watch him next week, especially in the return game. He was very noticeable in Sr. Bowl practices last year,.Not sure what happened with the Seahawks but I couldn’t think of a worse team to be signing him off the practice squad. CRAP!

Makes sense for them to try out a young, affordable guy over the last two weeks in place of Sammy Watkins.
They’re probably not going to use him a bunch in game action, though. More likely trying to find another young receiver to gel in practice with Jordan Love for the future.
